Do we really care about your scores, when most people already know the result and realise the voting system is totally ridiculous. The best are voted off the worst kept in. End of story.

Alesha & Matt - 9.
Doing her nan proud again, a lovely, well peformed routine. I think sometimes she just needs to maybe watch her footwork and her arm extensions a little, but it might just be nerves on the night.

Gabby & James - 7.
I didn't think she had a good samba "bounce" but it is very difficult to grasp, particularly with just a week to work on it and learn and perfect the rest of the dance too.

Dominic & Lilia - 7.
I think the routine could have been a little bit more polished in places, but a fantastic effort - and well done to him for keeping the lifts, even with his injured shoulder.

Kate & Anton - 5.
Technically, it was shambolic, but I loved it! It looked like Kate was having fun, which really drew me into the dance - I want to watch it over and over again!

John & Nicole - 7.
The posture went a bit downhill, as did some of the steps. But the AS is quite a hard dance to learn in a short space of time, I think, and I wondered if John would have faired better with the samba?

Kenny & Ola - 5.
Again, in places, rather technically shambolic, but also again, fun to watch, and a brilliant effort from Kenny. I preferred it to last weeks tango.

Kelly & Brendan - 8.
Even if they (he) hadn't broken the rules, I would have given them a 9. I didn't think it was deserving of a 10, although it contained good choreography on Brendan's part, good performance on Kelly's and the last lift was magnificent.

Gethin & Camilla - 7.
I thought it was fun, and I rather liked the hips. Still a little way to go before technical perfection, but nobody's perfect.

Letitia & Darren - 8.
Like last week, Letitia looked like she was enjoying herself, which instantly drew you into the dance a bit more, with fantasitc choreography in places. After the disastrous first week for Letitia (and her confidence) I think the only way is up!

Penny & Ian - 7.
Not as pleasing as Penny's quickstep, but then not as bad as her jive. I didn't really feel a samba theme to the choreography, but liked the sixties references.

Matt & Flavia - 9.
The boy done good! A fantastic show, even in comparison to last week when he had improved. He should try and conquer his nerves a little now, because if he manages to pull off a performance like that again, he has little to be nervous about. (Good choreography from Flavia too!).

Oh, how I would love to be a judge ...

Thanks for this thread!

Alesha & Matt - 9.
Lovely performance, entertaining. Do agree about her hold in some places, they could have been closer together.

Gabby & James - 8.
The "bounce" didn't work but she had the "performance" factor. A little more emotion could have been put in but a good performance

Dominic & Lilia - 7.
Needs to not look at Lilia's bum, and sort his timing issues. Some places unpolished but was great for doing those lifts, even though you could see the pain.

Kate & Anton - 5.
Technically it was a nightmare but she had the "fun" factor, which some couples lacked. I think its great that she's actually making the effort and triyng ot have fun.

John & Nicole - 6.
The only good thing about this was Nicole IMO. She kept it together and he slowly went downhill. Great effort though cos AS is a hard dance.

Kenny & Ola - 6.
Again he had "fun". Wasn't the best, the "bounce" wasn't really there and his hands looked quite awful at times. Great song choice by Ola and great routine.

Kelly & Brendan - 7.
Great routine and had all the performance but putting 3 lifts in spoilt it. It would have been great otherwise

Gethin & Camilla - 8.
He enjoyed it and I thought he had great hip movement and bounce. He did seemed to pumped up though, always room for improvement.

Letitia & Darren - 8.
Classy, stylish, bubbly and totally Letitia. Loved it.

Penny & Ian - 6.
I didn't feel Penny had the "bounce" and was just being carried through the routine by Ian. Good choreography by Ian but Penny just didn't seem to impress me tonight, her quicksetp was much better.

Matt & Flavia - 9.
FABULOUS!! The only thing that held him back was his nerves very slightly. Much improved and was a great routine by Flavia!

I'm very interested in what the Forumites think and how they would score the performances. It's nothing to do with predicting the actual results. I have been asked by several people to post my opinions too. Mostly I started the thread (and those last year) to give all of us the chance to write our own reports. When i read others reports it makes me think about the performances in a different way and how they are perceived by different kinds of people. I also usually surprise myself by the way I think about each routine each week.

Thanks to everyone who has posted their scores/reviews. I am VERY interested in your opinions!

If you're not interested then maybe you shouldn't be reading/posting in this thread

Judge Peach

Matt/Flavia 10 - it was fab

Matt/Alesha 8 - Good start at ballroom

Camilla/Gethin 8 - for such a improvement of the hips

Penny/Ian 7 - Good but not what I call samba did not like boots

Kelly/Brendan 7 - Do not like Kelly too in your face but must admit very good would be a nine but because of the lift. Brendan you are complete plonker. I do think he did this on purpose because he was not getting limelight Kelly was instead not that she needs any.

Gabby/James 7 -She is also getting on my nerves but did like the music fed up with back flip/cartwheels/spilits

Letitia/Darren 7 - love the partnership but hated the dress

Kenny/Ola 5 - good fun but not very good technically

John/Nicole 5 - Did not like this he was very dissappointing

Dom/Lilia 6 - Love him but I am getting fed up with cheeky chap routines Lila please make them without of cheekness.

Kate/Anton 3 - I would love to see do a dance which would be without mistakes just to see how good she could be.
