Yet again - have they 'Lost the Plot?

A great idea for a show format being sacrificed for short sighted 'gladiatorial' and base promotion. Who is responsible?
Which producer?

Facts are that British Actors Equity has over 20,000 members which also includes circus artistes too; balancer, acrobats, jugglers yes, clowns also - persons of high body ability.
Then there are the large number of sports persons plus this unknown number of 'celebrities'.
The point that I am making is simply this, surely it is not beyond the realms of the BBC power to engage 14 most suitable persons each year?
I would suggest the following maxims or questions:-

(One)
'Do you really wish to take part with best effort, attitude and good spirit and to accept the views of the judges without tantrum? Will you leave aside your personal 'magastar' ego for the duration?

(Two)
Can the BBC selectors please select persons who can dance - if only basically. I can not believe that there are not sufficient numbers from the above to supply 14 person each year! Showbiz should be full of dance persons - all the cast of pantomimes must dance. Our towns are full of people doing Tea dancing foxtrots and quicksteps yet some celebrities keep saying 'I have never danced a step'! And, crying in the corridors.
I am tasking the view that the BBC selectors are deliberately choosing persons so to deride and to make fools of - surely not?
Can the selectors make sure that participants are at least fit? Anyone who spends, perhaps, years behind a desk will not cover the demands of what is required from this programme without injury. It is not fair on them or the viewing public who are switched off (or switching off!)
I might add also that in is not fair on the fine professional teachers who may also suffer injury from very amateur participation.

(Three)
With the above points understood the judges should stop acting like Caesar at the Colosseum and stop the ridiculous
and rude behaviour and tone down their delivery (Dance Fever was so much better).
Again, one must assume that this 'dumb-ing down' is for 'ratings' but I take the view that it is just dumb and viewers are switched off.
The content of the dancing is now encouraged to be ruder and 'not nice' Please, return to good format!

There are clearly only four front runners in my view with Kelly and Matt taking the lead (Matt the giant ego!)
Then we have Alesha and Gabbie.
Gabbie in so much underrated - she is a fine dancer and with good tuition a see a Showgirl in Las Vegas!

On the positive at least we have the band lit and the band mentioned. Bruce never fails to be good entertainment and 'It Takes Two' with Claudia is always very well done and presented.
PS to Claudia! Can you not inspire the dull heads at the BBC
to give you a top Talk Show host situation and replace that boring (and overpaid) Jonathon Ross?
