just got a new 816 160gb branded technika from tesco see softwere is 3.7 dated 7/9/2007

my old one is 2.4uk :yawn:wonder when the new update will be sent out over air

Probably won't be. There were some OTA updates scheduled a few weeks ago, but none actually happened - I'm guessing that the DTG maybe didn't approve them due to some annoying bugs which appeared. I think Vestel are putting all their focus on the Freeview Playback Group 2 software, which will mostly likely be broadcast for all boxes once a release/stable version is ready.

i have one my mother has one annd my friends have one up to now been very good easy to use no techinical probs so far friends had to put up a new arial as the old one had been up a long time coax full of water now A1 my mam is 78 so easy to use she said
