Am watching this results show and this just shows that what matters here is not the dancing....its the personalitys.

Totally agree. Two really good female dancers go head to head, and three dodgy never-be very-good-in-a-million years stay. It must have been a terrible decision for the judges to decide between them.

John B; Dom and the rugby player are very limited in dancing ability, but they are personalities on TV, so what the hell, eh?

It's always has been about personalities to a large degree...and always will be.

What's pathetic is the judges whining about having to make a decision when they all welcomed the rule change.

I agree it makes me feel sad. I love SCD for the beautiful dancing that reminds me of dancing classes as a child. I am glad that John Barnes is still here but Kenny and Kate are a joke.

I wonder who voted for Kate, they must hate this show very much so they are there to ruin it.

Agree, Penny is nowhere close to Gabby.

The GBP are not (in the main) experienced dancers etc so will always vote (as per instruction from Tess) for their favourite ("personality"). Also how are you supposed to vote for someone BEFORE you see them dance if it is a "Dance competition"
As long as the judges carry on monstering Kate and Kenny and Arlene in particluar persists in making personal remarks these two will continue to get the public vote. If it was supposed to be a "Dance competition" in the true sense of the words then surely it would be just the judges to vote and we wouldn't be given the chance, but it IS an entertainment show to apparently make money for CIN- so does it really matter - and before everyone jumps on my case and monsters my opinion - yes I know they ALL train very hard but it comes easier to some people than others and surely "learning" to dance is part of the journey (sorry for using the J word so early in the competition) just IMHO

I dont like Gabby Logan at all... she just dosnt have a likeable personality... and neither does her Partner James; however IMO they did dance better than Penny in the dance off, and i was surprised she was kicked out based on those dances. Penny's seemed alot messier.

But hey, In a way i'm glad shes out, she wouldn't have won anyway. Kate or Kenny will go next week; one of them will have to otherwise the show will become a joke

no we're not - that's the point - we're voting for our favourites, thats why she says it. and thats why there are results like the one this week.

the public didnt like gabby or penny, end of story. its not for the judges to get on their high horses because they dont agree with the paying voters decisions.

personally i didnt like gabby either. she was much too competitive and had a haughty, overinflated opinion of herself - thats what came across, and thats why she ended up in the bottom two.

Why are we suprised when the lines are NOW open to vote for next weeks winner. We know its for charity, but the show makes a mockery of the celebs and pro's, who sweated buckets to do a great dance to try and get top votes. It also makes a mockery of the judges and people who want to see the BEST dancers win .

i feel that the only reason that penny was kept in instead of gabby, was in the itt trailer guess whos talking about pennys dancing, only hubby and if hes already lined up then why boot her out.

In my opion gabby was better techniccly then penny, but hey what do I know

I love Penny and she didn't deserve to be in the bottom 2.

Don't you believe it, the Kate/Anton fans will be voting already, at this rate they could make the final.

It's quite obvious there is a clear differance in everyones opinion of what this show is is meant to be all about. Either vote for your favorite no matter their dancing ability, or vote for the best dancers.
Well after tonights show we know which faction has the greatest following, so we must assume this is now going to happen every week, until presumably all the good dancers have gone and we are left with those with lesser ability. Now that will be a final to watch.

I was so annoyed by this result - what do the voting public think they are up to? I really made me think, why bother watching. I said for a joke yesterday I suppose we will see Kate in the final due to the sympathy vote but it was worse! This is the problem with the format of these programmes, they reply of the public vote for funds but that means the results are not fare.

How sad that people choose to use a sympathy vote, ignoring the talent of two other good dancers. It has to be all the GMTV watchers ganging up.
