What a farce!!

This weeks result was ludicrous.

We've lost a potential finalist to the charms of a breakfast tv presenter with no rhythm, coordination or talent.

The phone vote should be stopped and the judging left to the experts.

One of the "experts" being Bruno who gave a 10 to Kelly and Brendan. I have no faith in them to make the right decision.

How are you proposing will the money for the charity event be collected then. Should the judges decide who pays and who doesn't?

gabby was haughty, arrogant and had an overinflated opinion of herself - THAT'S why she was in the bottom two.

good riddance

The voters may be hard of seeing...but the moaners are hard of thinking if they can't get it through their heads that 'frocks and shocks' is actually bang on.

Scrap the charity phone votes. There are other ways to donate.

It really is a joke. Both Gabby and Penny deserved to stay.

I agree that both Penny and Gabby should not have been in the bottom two

Did anyone on this forum ACTUALLY VOTE FOR EITHER OF THEM???

I didnt

The fact is Wingpatrol, has made a valid point, the voters seem to have made a big mistake. Could it be that some people enjoy watching a person be made a fool off each week.

It seems thiss tupid idea of British fairness, has gone a step to far. People should realise this is a competition, and rather than just voting for the person they like the most. they should be voting for the best dancer on the night. Unfortunately to often these days, the silly idiots who like to make fun of people, will continue voting for Kate Garraway, while the judges continue dishing her.

Actually I'm going to donate this year anyway, because I don't like the fact that the finalists have been decided (according to the judges).

Probably, Kelly and Alesha (if they don't end up in the bottom two). What did Len say to Alesha this week, and I like her: "It's not very likely that you will do a bad dance" implying that he has very strong preconceptions. This show should be entertaining, surprising etc. Actually come to think of it, it has been this year. Go Kenny.

Its funny how one poster on here says that Gabby was haughty and arrogant - yet her husband Kenny is far more arrogant and big headed than she is - Yet, he's considered great and cool and a nice bloke, because he's a bloke. Its funny how, if a woman, is confident and good she's immediately targeted as arrogant and haughty.

Its a shame that women, who predominantly are the voters, tend to vote for the men, rather than the women.

Kate and Kenny should be ashamed of themselves - as should all the people who voted for them.

The public are pulling out the sympathy vote due to her personality which is fair enough if they are prepared to pick up the phone and spend money doing it, however, I tend to think that the whole concept of this show has been forgotten and that is to take non dancers and turn them into good dancers.

Sadly, Kate has shown no improvement and I don't feel she deserves to be in the competition any longer to the detriment of others who are improving.

Tonights result must have been devastating for Gabby and Penny. I honestly think if I was Kate I'd have stepped down and let the competition progress with celebs who are really trying.

Kate's not a natural nor will she ever attain a reasonable standard in this series.

Unfortunately we see this in every phone-in voting programme. People seem to be unable to see the reason for a vote, rather they ook to annoy the better dancers, and especially the udges

mmmmm. Mind you with all this vote rigging going on, I'll be surprised if some more of these reality shows don't grab the headlines soon for much of the same!!

It's absolutely scandalous that a totally rubbish dancer such as garraway is still there.

Is the vote genuine or is it another BBC phone in scandal????

He said the same thing to Dominic last night, didn't he? I don't see anyone touting Dom as a possible winner (yet).

I agree with this, and it's something I feel very strongly about as I get it in my workplace (won't go into the boring details)

Anyway I'm a woman and have only voted for a woman this series!

First lesson of viewer-vote driven RTV....whoever first said 'women would rule the world if they didn't hate each other so much' was on to something.

Actually I like both Dominic and Alesha, and long may he continue in the competition. I didn't pick this one up, but to be honest comparing Alesha and Dom is like comparing a good port with a cheap (but very enjoyable and cheerful) wine. The point I tried to make is that the judges will save certain people (even if they are my favourites) from being voted off. These people are Alesha, Kelly and maybe Matt (and Penny). The judges had always preconceptions about certain dancers (Zoe (one of my favourites) and Emma (not one of my favourites).

Can't believe I have just read this. She was in the bottom two because the GBP are plain stupid!

Why should Kate and Kenny be ashamed of themselves? They've done nothing wrong, they are just not very good, but it's the public who are voting for them. What do you want them to do? Quit the show voluntarily?!

You know what you should all do now? Hijack the Kate and Anton appreciation thread and make it be known your views in there. However, I don't think anyone will, for fear of being banned. Shame really - whatever happened to free speach.
