As many threads state, the BBC themsleves in the bodies of Bruce and Tess always say, the "The phone lines are open, so start phoning now for you FAVOURITE"...Not the best.

So all you moaning minnies who say "Oh please don't vote for Kate etc" read the instructions.....

Bravo TB, I agree. As the programme finished I too noticed Tess voice over saying the lines are now open to vote for your favourite
I spent a fortune last year voting for Brendan even though his partner Claire was rubbish. Brendan is my favourite, the person I like to watch the most, good or bad.
Gabby might have been ok, but gave me no more pleasure to watch than Kate stumbling around.

Actually, the BBC point out that you vote for your favourite so that idiots don't think it is a vote to evict.

EXACTLY Mr blair

If Len and Bruno have have such a problem with what the GBP wishes why dont they condemn the BBC for opening voting lines 5 days before anybody takes to the floor

I dont think so as they are getting paid no matter what

Ohh Yeah

Now that is a good idea.

If Len and co feel so strongly about it, let them speak up about the week long phone ins.

I can just see them subsidising Children in Need for the lost revenue.....Some chance.

But the judges overall, vote for ability (with a few notorious exceptions like Penny) not their favourite.

I think the Beeb use the word "favourite" since it encapsulates a multitude of reasons for voting - favourite celeb, most skilled dancer celeb, favourite prof dancer, most picked on celeb etc etc. If I voted (and I don't any more) I would vote for who I thought was the most skilled dancer that night, or who showed most skill overall.
