I am no James Jordan fan, but I think that he was a) right and b) actually trying to comfort his partner. Maybe he does have a sensitive side after all.
I didn't see it as arrogant at all, and if it was I think he has every right to be because Gabby was certainly not the worst dancer on the night; and should have stayed.

His arrogance is astounding and actually made me pleased they were booted out.”

Totally agree with you Libby. It seemed to me that James and Gabby got on well and that he really admired the effort she put into it all. I wasn't happy to see them in the bottom two, but neither was I happy with the judges' decision.
Last year he was paired with Georgina Bouzova and they were eliminated at exactly this point in the competition, and we know how promising she was He did well to stay gracious - I would have been very bitter.

Arrogance? He looked totally gutted to me and, never mind Gabby, seemed to be struggling with the tears himself.
And why shouldn't he say that Gabby was one of the top three dancers if he believes it to be the case? I thought she was superb and agree with him.

Well, this will be my last post on the SCD forum as it's an unfriendly and rude place.”
Far from it dear, we are neither rude nor unfriendly in fact the SCD forum is full of loving and caring people who believe dancing comes first. If you feel that way about us maybe you are right and you shouldn't post here again.
Gabby and James came out of this experience very well. He has certainly gone up in my estimation; it's his misfortune to appear to be arrogant, I felt he reacted with devastation, and was genuinely upset.
It's not fair on Gabby who left ITV over this issue, and James has behaved impeccably this series.
I dislike James, and I do think that he has an air of arrogance about him, HOWEVER, I do not believe that his comment this evening was arrogant I believe it was very truthful and from the heart.
