Glad I am not the only one who feels this way.
![]() Clearly it is sad to see someone of Gabby's calibre leave the show. I liked her and thought James was one of the more underrated dancers on the show. But tonight I've read some posts demanding that certain threads should be gatecrashed so as to 'shame' certain other FMs... People should be allowed to vote for the couple they like the best without being reprimanded for it. I have always considered this to be one of the most tolerant forums. I'm all for lively debate and discussion of the competitors and the dancers. But surely there is no need to abuse people who support certain acts? Just my opinion. I love this forum.

If you're talking about who I think you're talking about, I usually just avoid them. They are one of the cleverest trolls I've ever come across.
. No seriously, actually that person has given me some real laughs tonight (I don't mean that patronising, but I fear the person might not be real ).

Seemed like a cold fish to me.

Ah, I guess we'll never know if you're talking about the person I think you're talking about, or if we're talking about completely different people. That is the joy of being indirect. Whether the person is real or not, now that adds another whole layer of confusion ...

Not really! Welcome to the forum, I hope you'll have as much fun here as I do, despite all the craziness. Feelings are running high this weekend, but mid-week we're all usually quite reasonable.

I have just about given up....I cannot see where anyone is being other than what they normally are.
I thought I was going to have a laugh before bedtime but obviously not. The only one who is annoying me tonight is moonbeam with her multiple posts. I am not as fast as I used to be so cannot keep up with them. It would be usefull if we could have a private forum within the SCD onelimit it to about a dozen members and invite "sensible PC persons" onto it. |

No couldn't warm to her either. Emma was right to be so condescending to her. She still managed to marry a rich husband though, which is more than I achieved

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nothing to be scared of, there are plenty of people about who will defend your right to make a valid point but insults will never be tolerated. There is always the Warm and Tranquil room where you are free to relax and unwind. |

She managed to get married at all, which is more than I've ever achieved! Although I never thought Frank Churchill was all that. Mr Knightley was by far the better match and catch - well done Emma!
I think we might get in trouble for being off topic if we continue like this, though ![]() . Anyway, not off topic at all, it's all about being nice to one another. This has given me a smile, before "I retire to bed with a good novel". Hmm I think Jane Austen comes to mind .

Is there something wrong with me or am I just thick skined.
I looked through all of the specsavers comments and a million other threads and have not seen anything I would get upset about. Or are you all have a joke at my expense?? If you want to see some real ranting and raving, have a look at some of the general discussion threads, they border on libel. Me, I'm all for the peacefull life, laid back with my wife massaging my feet and peeling me a grape while I watch re-runs of Rag Tag and Bobtail..... |

Hey Lady B,
Help me out here, there are some nast FM's having a go at me on another thread. Their reply was too long for me to be bothered to read it but I think it must have been negative. No one writes a long agreement. Anyway, goodnight to all, I am going to bed with a good book and a glass of collapso. |
