Listening to him on the expert commentary is wonderful. He seems to have such a calming air about him and I think that's needed on the judging panel after the rediculous infighting that was going on last night. Honestly, anyone would think it was the X-Factor...

At least two of the regular judges need the elbow for sure.

But...

I'm afraid he'd never make the line up. He just isn't photogenic enough (and that's the nicest way I can put it). You can flame me if you like, but that's exactly the reasoning the producers will be applying.

I don't like him (he seems a bit too...well I can't say what I really want to, so 'stand-offish' to me) but I do think we need another ballroom (or latin) judge on the show. Whether it's to make the panel 5 or to replace one of the others, I don't really care - either way it evens out the numbers a bit more - but the balance of one ballroom judge versus three 'show' judges isn't right IMO.
