...Kenny has called BBC to offer his place for Gabby to be reinstated into the competition...

See the interview in Greytop's thread...

if he goes then I will complain because at the end of the day they both took part in this competition in the spirit of abiding by the viewers votes- like it or not This makes me really angry.

Well it's not going to ever happen but its the thought that counts.

The interviewer seemed to try to mention to Gabby Kenny's still in the competition as if to provoke Gabby's response. But she said Kenny was being sweet to trade his position with her. Not that the producers will listen to him, of course...

She also said that he did it without telling her first and that she thought it was not appropriate. She then joked about how the BBC couldn't consider this given all their recent voting problems.

It was part of a nice radio interview with Nicky Campbell and Gabby came over very well - disappointed but not bitter and still raving about how great the show is and how wonderful all the people behind the scenes are.

I think it is a sweet response on the part of all the Logan family. It's the thought that counts.

It is a lovely gesture, but the producers can't possibly think of doing it. The result will be that she'll just get voted out again next week due to public backlash.

Why give us the power to vote and then take it away from us?

It could never happen, but it's a sweet gesture.

What a lovely supportive thing to do. It couldn't happen, or what would be the point of the public vote?

Karen said he was heartbroken .
I think party of Gabby coming to the BBC was so that she could do this show .

what a nice thing to do, I suppose we should have expected it though from Gabby's husband.

That is such a sweet thing of him to do even if it couldn't happen.

That's the whole point, Gabby is saying Kenny's sweet doing that, thereby quenching the speculation that they must be at odds with each other after what happened last Saturday.

Why would people think they'd be at odds with each other, I'm sure a dancing competition has no effect on their feelings for one another. It's not Kenny's fault Gabby is no longer in it.

Gabby's competitive but I'm sure that her family and her stable marriage is more important than the childish argument of who is still in a reality show? IMO anyway. I don't understand how some people would think that they would be at odds with each other

How ridiculous; rules are rules and that's not how it works.

Gabby is out because she didn't get enough votes - simple.

Why do people think they will be at odds with each other? I don't know, don't ask me!

Neither do I.

Sweet gesture though and I'm sure she was touched by it.

If that was really the case, we don't know though Penny may have got less votes.

Penny did get the least votes cos she was higher up the judges leaderboard than Gabby.

10 out of 10 for the offer,
with no mark deducted.

Hmm, I dunno. What he is suggesting is illegal...so you need to deduct one point for that!
