Anyone using SIPGATE?

Trying to get a USB phone working properly with the service, think it's set-up OK, but need to speak to another SIPGATE user with a handset, as suffereing from feedback when speaking to PC users with desktop speakers and microphone and / or webcam.

Post here or PM me so I can contact you when you're online?

Why don't you try calling a landline or have them call you and see how that works instead then? I do have Sipgate but I'm afraid I'm not giving my phone number out.

Seems to work OK to landlines, but when a voicemail is received, if you ring the number again straightaway it just seems to be silent until a few minutes later. Doesn't seem to like a massive amount of calls in a short time.

I need to be in at the time and that's the major problem, when I'm in my family and friends are out.

can you test it with another mic/ear piece.

or you can dial 10000 to listen to the test crap (often in german).

They are usually good for support though.

Yeah, cheers for that. It appears to receive that call info OK.

Must be just the setup at their end is feeding back on the PC. I should persuade them to shell out on a handset.
