Venting is healthy!

Sympathy voters anger me. They ruin shows like this.

Dear old Len should be grateful that anyone is voting given the state of phone voting on television shows.

FFS - Nobody has died - people are just voting for who they don't like - and Gabby Logan is thoroughly absurdly competitive and took the whole thing far too seriously. OK, yes, people should vote on the dancing - but don't then turn round and bite the hand that feeds you by patronising your bloody audience.

I wonder if the format will be changed next Saturday.

It's about time the judges realised it's a reality show, and voters vote for who they like not how they dance, especially in the first 6 weeks or so.

I feel sorry for the dancers at the bottom, as they are being made to feel that they don't belong there especially Kate as it's her being named all the time.

I didn't have Len down as the histrionic type...but there you go. Perhaps the producers told him to be really upset.

Len needs to focus on his own ridiculous sympathy voting.

These judges were nobodys before this program so should be grateful they get the chance to get paid for giving their opinions and it's only because of the public involvement that they are in this cushy position

Strictly Come Dancing is supposed to be a "fun" Saturday Night Show, Len is taking it far too seriously he should just calm down and accept the viewers vote, otherwise he could end up driving them away!

Yes so being choreographers of top west end shows, running prestigious dancing schools etc. means they're nobody's now? Blimey!

The judges are throwing their toys out of the pram completely over this!!!

This is supposed to be a fun show, it isn't like the X Factor which is very serious and where Simon Cowell has millions of pounds and his reputation at stake.

The judges need to lighten up.

This is reality TV, these shocks happen and people have all sorts of reasons for voting, lots of people I know have Anton as their favourite dancer, people don't always vote for the celebrity.

I understand why people are angry at the results from last night (I am too), but I think they (the judges) are wrong to be directing their annoyance at the people who voted for Kate and Kenny.

For as long as the phone lines are open all week, and Tess tells us to vote for our favourite couple then surely it is the BBC and the format of the show that is to blame, not people using their own free will to chose who they want to vote for.

If we were asked to vote for the best dance of the night, then there wold be more justification in getting upset over the result.

Len upset, Oh! Diddums!! Perhaps as Head Judge he should be explaining to his colleagues how a judge should act and thats in a more professional manner.

Sorry told me! I meant nobodys to the general TV viewer who have vastly improved their earning potential by keeping this show running.

Their earning potential didn't need to be improved - they are top of their field anyway! They may have more TV work, but it doesn't mean they're getting paid more!

They've already copied X Factor with the "Judges Vote-Off" so I don't see why they don't do the same with the phone lines and only open them for a couple of hours after the live show. That way, it make viewers vote for who they think was the best on the night.

But whatever they do, it's a celebrity show and more often than not, fans will vote for their favourite celebrity whether they dance good or bad.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if all the hysterics from the judges, and the slagging each other off, isn't a put up job to improve ratings. The X factor lot seem to do it all the time. Certainly the show wouldn't have had all the publicity today if kate , John or Kenny had gone.

There seems to be a view that people are voting negatively when ,in fact, they're simply voting for whom they want. It's not as though you can phone and ask them to take votes away from people. Can you imagine
'I'd like to give 5 votes to Kate and take 5 from Gabby.'
'Certainly, Madam. That will be £2-50'

I think we all need to remember it's an entertainment show based on dancing. If it were just a dance show why not have just the pros as they do it best.

Couldn't agree more. It's all about ratings and money. That's why the phone lines are open all week - the BBC want the money for CIN - that's why they say vote for your favourites - the dancing is never mentioned by the presenters when asking for votes.

Why was Gabby "absurdly competitive"? How did she cross the line from "competitive" to "absurdly..."? They're all competitive. Why should Gabby be penalised for being the same as the others?

Surely the "absurd" wasn't as a result of the story in the Sun where she was supposed to have burst into tears because she wasn't first and run to her mum. Complete b*llocks. I didn't believe that rubbish for one moment and wonder who was briefing against her.

Gabby isn't the only celeb on this show who has not quite been able to hide the fact that they were not entranced with the marks the judges gave them. Why criticise her only, for this?
