Connecting headphones to TV?
Hi
I have a portable in my bedroom that is connected to my Sky+ in the living room via the second RF out. I want to be able to connect my headphones to this TV so I can watch it in bed without disturbing the nieghbours but cant as it doesnt have a headphone out socket. Anyone know of any way I can connect the headphones to the RF or SCART sockets such as an adaptor or something similar? Thanks |

No you can't, but you can modify a TV to have a headphone socket - however, it's NOT an amateur procedure for safety reasons.

Thanks Nigel
It would probably be cheaper to buy a new TV than having this one modified. Its only a 14in portable. |

You could certainly plug a small stereo amp into the SCART socket and use it to run headphones.
