IF the story is true, she should be booted off but actually I only saw daft kids play-acting unless there really is a 'terrified teenager' that I didn't see.

The video just shows her and other kids having a laugh.

Can't be that good news for Sharon though, as I can't see this helping Emily to get votes. Especially as she's probably surviving on the sympathy and cutesy votes.
I can't see any positives in this for Emily, so I doubt that this is a story set up by the X Factor itself.

Unless the X Factor are attempting to create an elaborate PR stunt where they release this story to the press, and then claim that Emily is the victim of a smear campaign.
Can't see it though.

Its typical of something that only a fifteen year old with her mates would find funny.

I agree. Didnt really see that much to be alarmed about. It would not suprise me if Sharon actually mentioned this as another attempt to get at her through one of her acts. I think Emily may have to crank up the tears on Saturday to ensure that sympathy vote.

This is crap. The video is just a bunch of kids messing around. Even if that is her, why boot her off. What's it got to do with anything. If you do that then why not use this as justification to fire her from her job in 30 years time. It makes no sense to do that.

To me it looks harmless. However in today's worrying knife culture this won't attract votes.

I think she'll go this weekend anyway. I'd be shocked if she wasn't in the bottom two at least.

When I read the report in the The Sun, I thought how dreadful. The when you see the clip, it's just a group of teanagers, having a laugh, and messing about in someone's bedroom. But how many people will just read and beleive the article and not bother to read the clip.

Just some stupid kids messing about. One of her 'friends' fancied making a bit of cash.

She'll most likely go. She's rubbish anyway, so I'm not too bothered.

She shouldnt throw her off thr show just for that silly video - it wasnt even being serious (in my eyes)...

but they should kick her off the show as shes only in there because of sympathy votes because of her story, crying, moaning and 'sweetness'. She has not got a singing voice at all, and i wouldnt even download her songs for free let alone buy any.

Get her off!

How bad is that story? and how stupid when you see the video. Classic case of don't believe everything you read in the papers. Emily should sue for defamation of character. Problem is that most people won't be reading it online and will just take it as gospel. It could cost her her place in the show poor kid.

Although not acceptable, she's been a through A LOT since with her life on the line and I should know, she should be allowed a second chance.

Shes already been given how many chances? about 4 or 5? Well however many times shes got through from the first audition.. thats how many chances shes had!!

All these comments back the theory that shes only still in because of sympathy. Simons comments said it all on Saturday..

She should be judged on her ability, but it is true what Catterby says - she has been given a lot of chances because of her age, etc., when she has underperformed.

The sympathy story lines from Emily, Leon, Daniel, Nikki, etc., are wearing a bit thin to be truthful. So what has happened in her life before the X Factor is getting boring. I bet every contestant has a sob story, but not all of them are trading on them.

See it's all good hearing the sob story but until you've been through it you can't relate you just consider it as a sidestory.. I wasn't suggesting she should stay in based on her 'sob stoy' but shouldn't allow a back story like this to affect the publics perception, I'm sure she's learnt a lot since recovering.
