As you ask the question - I shall respond. You did refer to posters as 'all you nasty people' and that is against DS rules.

I was not taking a pop. I responded to your earlier post because it immediately followed mine and, if you re-read your post, you will see that you were rather sweeping in your condemnation of those of us who fail to 'appreciate' the charms of Ms Garraway and her lamentable dancing skills.

As is my right, I shall continue to express my opinion on the merits or demerits of those celebrities who have chosen to enter a dance competition and are being handsomely rewarded for the pleasure.

Ive said across the forums, people should stop blaming Kate or Kenny for that matter for Gaby going, its not their fault. Also I think Kate and Kenny dance just like most people would in the public would look like on tv,people in glass houses etc. A lot of people are voting for Anton not Kate and whats wrong with that,it is a twosome

Yes - it's hard to get them to change those preconceptions, we've seen it before.

(There's not the same achievement when pupils find it easy to do.) It does happen. People with no rhythm can learn to dance. I don't believe there is anyone without the ability to learn to dance - everyone starts at a different level and you treat every individual as they come.”

I agree. It's the same with everyone - you have lessons because you can't. Same with music (which I teach) - people start with different aptitudes and abilities, but practically everyone is capable of improvement given the opportunity and the right teacher.

Oh meow . I don't recall my reply being direct to you - it could have been posted as a response to anyone of the personal attacks - it just so happened that it was posted directly below yours - if I wanted to "have a go" I would have pm'd individuals

I was merely pointing out that the "bitchy" comments were personal and unwarranted - I don't insist that people appreciate Kate I was just remarking that personal comments against her were totally unecessary. I have been on these forums for a long while and know the rules - therefore my sweeping statement was just that - unlike the posters who got personal, and brought other "objections" to her that have nothing to do with the show

I haven't followed the whole of this thread but I'm 100% with you in wanting to see only comments about the dancing rather than personal remarks about contestants and their partners. Len Goodman, take note, you are setting a bad example!

I just loved the last sentence of that newspaper article.

"God loves a tryer".
