HUGO URBAN RULES is Back!!!!!!!!!!
HUGO URBAN RULES, the highly acclaimed music programme from HUGO Fragrances is returning to London on 3rd and 4th of December to reach out and invest in new talent. This multi-faceted campaign has been designed to give one budding artist or band the chance to get their music recorded and released and to appear on stage at an exclusive showcase event filmed by MTV.
HUGO Fragrances called up Amerie, the world famous R&B star, to spearhead the forthcoming London round of HUGO URBAN RULES; a second event will take place in Manchester in Spring next year. Following in the footsteps of Jamelia and Amy Winehouse, Amerie will take the campaign into its second year alongside a panel of industry experts including Sony BMG’s Mervyn Lyn (Vice President of A&R & Business Development RCA) and Galaxy FM’s Steve Sutherland. To get involved upcoming artists can send in demos to the campaign (closing date 16 November 2007). Around 15 of the most talented artists will be invited to the TWO day session masterclasses and auditions, receiving on-point tuition on subjects like; Vocal coaching from Don-E, producer for the likes of Beverley Knight and Grace Jones Stage-craft from Isaac “Turbo” Baptiste – choreographer & tour performer with Will Smith and Puff Daddy Artist Q&A – a personal insight from Amerie and UnkleJam into their experiences of the music industry Amerie, Mervyn Lynn and Steve Sutherland will chose a winner to record a single and to perform at the London showcase event, warming up for Amerie and Unklejam. Taking place at Neighbourhood 4 December, music fans can register for free tickets at www.hugofragrances.com. where they can also request free fragrance samples. Only 500 will be in attendance, where they will receive drinks and a fragrance goody bag. |
