Erinfan - where are you when I need you?”

I'm talking technically! For Goodness sake, I've just said I absolutely adore Anton & Erin as people and they are great dancers but in competitive dancing they cannot touch the ballroom couples discussed on this thread. A&E have never won any major Championship.

This is covering old ground. Erinfan and I had the most marvellous discussion about this a couple of days ago on this thread. Look back and see what she said. She was happy and I was happy

Did you mean "breathe" calmly?

Lots of people make spelling mistakes in error when posting on the boards, as there is a tendency to type quickly. This does not mean that they do not know the correct spelling.

Vikki's meaning was perfectly clear. There is no need to be such pedant. It hasn't made you appear clever or witty.

Don't insult me, of course I can spell and I think it was pretty obvious what I meant.

I'm sorry I missed your "marvellous" discussion. I'm sure it was. I happened to miss it as I don't have the time to read through every single post in every single thread. I'd never leave my computer.

So, I hope it was okay to give my view as I did. I find it pretty strange I've been picked on and I wasn't even talking badly of any the dancers I mentioned.

Let's just leave at that, hey?

Were you picked on?

I'm grateful for it to be left at that.

I was enlightened by Erinfan as I said. We started from different points of the compass and ended up amicably. I can't help it if you didn't read it. Not my problem

It's a shame you find our dancers 'so-called pros' I don't necessarily like the dancing of all of them, but that's a personal taste. Overall they definitely deserve a lot more respect than that in my opinion. Vincent and Flavia were world 10 dance finalists as well as Argentine Tango world champions and every single latin couple has made an International semi-final, which is an incredible achievement! Karen and the Cutlers were right at the top of their profession. They were not just regular world finalists and major title holders, but also some of the top dancers - along with Tim and Jo etc - that our country has produced in the last ten years!”

Good post. I DID enjoy the foxtrot, very much. But I also enjoy the pros on the show and many of them are excellent dancers by any standard.

And understandably.

Some wonderful dances in those links - thanks those who've posted them.

I really enjoyed it, thought they were great. I'm glad SCD decided to bring in other pros. More please!
I'd love to see another couple brought in to do a tango demo or VW or a paso. It's good to have variety.

I have recordings of Timothy in the broadcasts from the UK Amateur Championships in Bournemouth in the 90s - one with his previous partner Amanda Owen and the rest with Joanne.

I was with Timmy and Jo in Holland last night, they danced really, really well and said they are very much looking forward to the worlds next weekend seeing as though they couldn't dance at Blackpool earlier in the year. I'm really looking forward to seeing them too!
