Leona spoilt X factor!!!
It will never be as good ever again!
Why? Well when whitney or mariha, etc, record a trackwhicht is the mixture of many many takes, and the edit they in/out all the best/good bits and also use voice enhancers etc etc Leona, last year, went on stage and sang every single note perfectly with out fail......... and LIVE! They will not find a better singer than her and in my opinion ( and btw I am allways right ) she has spoilt the programe.Ok we can still laugh at the morons in the auditions who cant sing as well as a ham sald sandwich but Leona will NEVER be bettered! |

Yup, i said this before-Simon loves Leona and im sure hes delighted to have her, but she has put the final nail in the coffin for x factor!
Im not bothered though...if the 12 this year is best they could do it means things are slowing down! Be gratful we got Leona before the show loses much more steam! I wouldnt use the phrase "spoilt" though...its not her fault! The show was designed to find talent-but noone imagine finding talent like Leona! She is what the X Factor is meant to be! |

"and btw I am allways right"
That sums it up nicely. "Always" only has one "L" So wrong! |

![]() Although for the OP to use the phrase 'spoilt' is coming from completely the wrong angle - I would say 'gave credibility' was much more appropriate. |

obviously her "stage presence" hasn't affected her multi million pound record deal and the fact that she has sold
260k plus with Bleeding Love. anyway, back to original point...they need to find someone that is different to Leona...maybe an Indie/Rock act...which is why I think Cowell wants a band to win. look at the diversity of American Idol finalists/winners. Kelly Clarkson - Pop/Rock Ruben - Pop/Soul Fantasia - RnB Carrie - Country Chris Daughtry - Rock etc. |

Agree - the focus has changed completely from 'who the best singer is' to who is without a doubt the most commercial.

excellent point Emma.
Saying she spolit it is a bad phrase. She proved it wrongs as a format and talent search. This year is a bad selection of singers and none will have same success Leona has-but again not her fault. Someone a different genre is needed to continue the X-winner success....and yea, Simon wants a band for this reason.... |

I am sure that SonyBMG, RCA and about 260k people (at least) disagree with you.
![]() And if she had a bad voice, we wouldn't have bought it at all.

I agree. No female singer in Leona's style will ever top her I don't think.

Lol, if she had no stage presence, we would have never seen her lol. And yeah, they will never find someone as good as Leona. If Leona is 100% the second best ever would only be at 70%.

I agree. It turned the X-Factor into something cold and clinical, something that no longer has anything to do with charisma, or personality, or performance skills, or soulful vocals, or a great tone. It made it about the maths of which note is the highest you can hit and how long can you hold it.
