Remember? How good were they? For a while in the early 90s it seemed like the KLF were the future of pop. And until they went all the way up the nth degree of their own art stunt, they were. What Time Is Love, 3am Eternal, It's Grim Up North are all legendary records. Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond made some of the greatest music ever. Their influence is everywhere; why aren't they given their due?

Yes they were nutters - didn't they try to throw a bucket of pigs blood over the audience at The Brits? 3AM Eternal is a top tune! And if ever you want to burn a million quid, they're yr boys!

If they really did burn a million, thats just twattish. a better gesture would have been to give it away to a worthwhile cause.

Selfish self obssesed idiots, great music, but as people, no thanks.

I love The KLF, The White Room is one of my favourite albums ever. Last Train To Trancentral was my fave song on the album. I was in a nightclub recently where they played 3am Eternal, it was fantastic!

Classic stuff. They seem to have been almost forgotten these days but they're obviously a huge influence on bands like the Klaxons

the chill out album was always my favourite - can still get lost in that from beginning to end.
