Speaking as one who remembers Come Dancing (very young child of course) all I can say about the Military Two Step is NOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo.

It's horrendous; all those ghastly powder puff dresses bobbing up and down and the men saluting uuugggghhhh
It's what put me off ballroom dancing years ago and the scar is still there...

LOL! It was basically the same few steps repeated again and again, with the same salute each side. I think it would suit the celebs in Remeberance Week, they could add it now in time.

LOL! The dresses have moved on with the times... the same as the ones worn in Strictly now!!!!

I love Old Time. It's still an integral part of my Ballroom classes. We cover Old Time (now called Classical Sequence), Ballroom & Latin. I have to say that the children love the Old Time section, particularly socially, as they can easilly dance with each other round the room.. when we go out to a dance, the classic dances are also the ones we all jump up to dance. Can't beat a Saunter Together, Midnight Tango, Sally Ann Cha Cha! hehe (helped along by gallons of red wine of course!)

Edit: JINX! La Rhumba!

The Dashing White Sergeant would be good as well.

Saunter together, balmorral blues, sizzling samba, woodside waltz, have enjoyed learning these and moew in the past year, as has y son ( 14) have both taken exams.

Would love to see the celebs do Gainsborough Glide- the thought of them attempting to do the bit where you change dirrection, by swivling 180 degreees whilst one leg off groung infront of you ending up off ground behind you is making me laugh now.

Some sequence dance would be a great leveler- as all doing exactly the sae thing at the same time ( well thats the theroy) would be great for the comp
