Anyone get any thoughts as to whose going to be in the dance off this Sunday?

I'd like to see Dominic go this week and then I think it's about time we put an end to Kate's misery - she's still asking for the votes (for Antons sake I think) but i'm not convinced she's actually enjoying herself.

She looks in pain from the moment she gets on the dancefloor and it goes downhill from there - I don't dislike her but I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.

The bottom two will most likely be Peny and Kelly in my view.

Kenny is suddenly starting to show some personality and has increasing public support. Kate's public support will probably be as strong as ever unfortunately.

I would expect Kelly's public support to have plumetted after she admitted being complicit in the illegal lift and I reckon she may have to be top with the judges not to end up in the bottom two.

I don't expect the support for Penny to have changed from last week.

Who is going to be as against who should be? It should be Kate and Kenny but the judges' comments could get them through again. If this happens I think it may be John Barnes and Gethin, sad though this would be.

Actually I could see John being in the bottom two as well.

Should: Kate & Kenny

Will: John & Dom possibly..(not because I don't like them but they are likely to be mid table)

Kelly and Alesha

Think of the money I would win if this came true !

I think I agree with Allisonbm:

Should K and K

May be John and Dom

Have to say that I wouldn't be too disappointed to lose Dom however I am quite liking John (hides because he doesn't always seem to be that popular) and i love Nicole and would like to see them go further

I agree, the meaner the judges are the more the voting public come out in sympathy. Wouldn't like to see Gethin in the bottom two 'cos I reckon a few more weeks of dancing and Camilla will unleash the beast within .. Ramps stylie!

Haven't really warmed to John Barnes and I keep forgetting that Letitia Dean is even in the competition!

I would love to see Penny and Kelly in the bottom two just to see the judges faces

Penny - cos she's such a bland person and Kelly to give Brendan a big shock

I think the dance is crucial. The foxtrot can be magical but it's tough technically and can be a bit dull for viewers. The paso is much more dramatic and crowd pleasing - much more room for 'Well, it wasn't technically great but they really went for it' voting, which is pretty impossible with the foxtrot. I think a foxtrot will go.

Gabby's leaving will have changed the voting - people will be less confident the better marked people are safe. I think Kelly, Alesha, Matt and Penny will be fine. Kenny looks set to get a massive vote with all the gimmicks and could take 'sympathy' votes from others. Kate's support could suffer, if people feel guilty for Gabby, but depends on what kind of night she has - if the judges act like she shouldn't be there, she'll be back again. I think Lilia and Dom will do a crowd pleasing paso and will be back, and so could Letitia. I think it could be Kate and John or John and Gethin, depending on how Gethin dances. (Please not Gethin!)

I agree the dance does influence how people vote, the paso just gets you here *thumps heart with fist!* but like you say a fox trot can be spectacular. I wanna see Dom go this week, I hope his legs fall off during their Paso

Trying to assess it purely from an RTV perspective my guess is Kelly & John.

Crarlene will 'save' John, Bruno will 'save' Kelly....Len will 'save' John.

Kelly out.

Gethin is totally safe, trust me.

I think (fear) John will be in the bottom two, but hopefully he will be with Kate or Kenny and then be safe. Otherwise I think it could be Penny again.

Should be: Kate & Kenny
I hope: Kate & Dom

I think: Kenny & John

Gabby's exit last week will get people voting for more than bottom placed dancers.

I think it's time to say goodbye to Kate.
John or Dom to also be in the bottom two.

This is a really good point ~ I wonder if people tend to go out on ballroom more often then latin, cos as you said it hasn't always got the "wow" factor that the public are looking for, and I reckon (in fact it's pretty obvious!) there's not many people sitting at home thinking "I'll vote for that, what a technically masterful ballroom dance".

If anyone is interested in "form" and "patterns"...

Fiona Phillips danced four dances. This will be Kate's fourth dance.

Last year, James left the competition in Week 4. This year James also left the competition in Week 4. Last year the professional who left in Week 5 was Anton.

Dunno if that's any use?

" I hope you're happy...." ( Couldn't help myself!)

Interesting trend. I feel, a la Fiona & Georgina, that this may be Kate's last week ~ the sympathy votes tend to dry up after a few weeks. Her Samba really was awful though ~ and not in a good, Peter Schmeichal kind of way
