My phone broke that i had with my contract so i am using a crappyer phone and i still have 10months left on my Contract and i don't think i will be able to upgrade at all.

The SE W910i looks great but is very pricey on places like ebay (the best place i could find to buy)

Any ideas?

Just keep checking the classifieds.

I've just come to the end of my 18 Month contract, its way to long, so i said i want no upgrade, they put me on 30 day contract, sim only deal. £25 a month, unlimited texts and 600 anytime cross network mins. keeps my bill at very little cost, just gonna get a new phone sim free when I want one.

If you hate 18 month contracts, one wonders why you signed one......

Indeed, and why the OP didn't take out insurance to replace his phone if it needed replacing.

ok your still within your 12 month warrenty, you can ring up your provider and you should be able to get a warrenty replacement which should be free of charge

I was going to post what Andybno1 suggested. The phone is only eight months old and therefore you should push for a warranty replacement.

Interestingly enough I've had a windows Mobile phone under an eighteen month contract. It has been the worst model for reliablility I've ever encountered.

Was repalced in the first month when it broke down, and was relplaced at the end of month thirteen, under warranty, when it broke down again. (apparently it is under warranty for the full eighteen months.)

That's what I thought when I read this thread. You either go for a 12 month contract, or since you know you're going to be stuck with the same phone for so long, get insurance on it because you will lose it/break it/damage it/something will go wrong.

I can only speak for Orange, but that isn't quite right. A faulty phone is replaced within 28 days of purchase. After that it is repaired free of charge under the warranty.

For a warranty replacement there is a big difference between "My phone broke that I had with my contract" & "I broke my phone that I had on my contract".

If it is the latter then you won't get a replacement but you may be able to claim on your house insurance.
