There have been a few reviews of the new Girls Aloud album "Tangled Up". Apparently its the best they've done so far. Pop Justice is saying its better than Britney's, Sugababes etc.

So what are we thinking, im not going to lie but Girls Aloud are my dirty music secret. The first 2 singles have been really good so its looking hopeful!

Tracklisting:
1. "Call the Shots"
2. "Close to Love
3. "Sexy! No No No..."
4. "Girl Overboard"
5. "Can't Speak French"
6. "Black Jacks"
7. "Control of the Knife"
8. "Fling"
9. "What You Crying For"
10. "I'm Falling"
11. "Damn"
12. "Crocodile Tears"

I've always liked Girls Aloud but, whilst I haven't heard 'Call The Shots', I was really dissapointed by 'Sexy No No No'.

What Will The Neighbours Say and Chemistry are two of my favourite pop albums of the last few years (and I'm a big indie kid so that takes some admitting!), but I've not been too impressed with the two singles so far. Hope I'm wrong, as I think they do some great songs.

I dont understand a lot of the dislike towards Sexy! No no no... Its a really good tune! Apparently there going to be 2 versions of the album.

Standard Edition:

Fan Edition:

Only difference being a few extra "bits" in the fan edition as well as a change of cover art.

I thought this was meant to be a double-disc album?? What happened to that?

I can't wait for it - I'm anticipating this album way more than I did Britney's and that's saying a lot!!

Call The Shots is actually a good single, far better than the crappy single the Spice Girls brought out.

"Call the Shots" is one of the best pop songs I've heard this decade. It's actually inspired me (along with Enrique's "Do You Know" and the new Darren Hayes album) to start making some electro pop music.

Call The Shots is good, but it reminds me of another song. I can't think what it is though.

Call the Shots and Sexy No No were horrible, I highly doubt it will be better than the Sugababes latest release.

Must admit, I've changed my mind about Call The Shots now - heard it a few more times and I love it now. And great news that there's no cover versions on Tangled Up!

I want the fan edition, but I also want the CD in my hands by 9am on the Monday, so I may have to just go for the regular edition with the bonus remix disc at Woolies - only £1.97 extra, apparently - and forget the fan one with the nice cover. And postcards. And lyrics book.

Hmm, I think I'll be getting both.

The "Mixed Up" cover

I quite that cover out of them all. It is very random releasing that album, they seem to be going all out on this one.

Wow havn't been keen on the girls material of recent but the previews sound amazing..

Apparently the BBC approached the band to input 'Girl Overboard' into the Eurovision next year.. hm doubt they will but could see it doing well.

Previews are up here: http://www.7digital.com/artists/girls-aloud/tangled-up/

The last 3 songs are playing at rapid speed for some reason...luckily, I got worried! Sounding pretty good if you ask me. Even a bit of "drum and bass" (What You Crying For).

Call The Shots is excellent.

They're on X-Factor this weekend which should boost the album.

Some of the songs sound great on the previews-can't wait to hear the whole thing, I think I'm gonna really like "Control Of The Knife"I might order it later off Play.com.
