Actually, I must confess I don't have a problem with threads that are critical as long as it feels they are critical of the dancing, or even the dancers, as long as it is to do with the dancing.

But your limericks and frock comments are just as valid as owt else to be found here on these threads, and your postivity is much welcome here these days, my dear.

xx”

It's the threads that are being nasty about celebs and pro dancers that I object to. It would be nice if the judges would also restrict there comments to the dancing. I also agree that this forum should be fun.

I'm not after happy, fluffy threads but I do find the venom in some remarks offensive. There are ways of discussing which don't involve character assassination. I agree, Mariaella there is such a thing as a happy medium.

I don`t mind negative threads.......posted in a few myself. However the shear number of Anti-Kelly threads that have been started over the last few weeks is ridiculous. Why not just merge them all into one almighty Kelly bashing thread. ........ I`ll still be supporting B+K this week even if she did`t do herself any favours last night.Thats testosterone for you.

I totally agree. I wish someone would contact Admin to ask them to do the merging, as the entire forum is becoming various ways to say you hate Kelly & Brendan.

No matter what thread you start there will ALWAYS be those who 'in the name of free speech' or 'this is a discussion thread' will always post and do so mostly to provoke and antagonise others.

Frankly, if you just ignore them instead of responding to their comments, which is what they want, they will go away soon enough. For them the fun is in baiting people and if they are ignored then they are deprived of their fun.

There's quite a few people on DS who don't seem to understand that they are revealing quite a bit about their own personality through their posts. And it ain't a pretty picture that they're painting.

My way of dealing with threads that seem to thrive on negativity ---don't read them. I don't click on them. I just avoid them. I'm not interested in mean-spirited threads.

That's not to say I'm in favour of over-the-top gushy, he/she can do no wrong obsessive type threads, but, why spoil my day with reading vitriol? And, as said above, ignore the prats and they will soon go away!

My aim in starting this thread was to encourage people not to read or respond to the negative threads and thereby allow them to die a death. The amount of negative emotion being directed right now at Kelly and Brendan says more about the posters than either K or B.
