BT, Bills, Broadband= bother.
Reading some of the posts on this subject makes me realise some people have far worse problems than I.
I've got BT broadband, and, generally, I find it OK, but the latest bill shows an increase in my monthly D/D payment, citing a change in my B/B package, a change I'm unaware of. I attempted to question this by phoning BT, but all I got was an automated response, when all I wanted was to speak to someone in person. Is there a number that connects to someone living (in this country). We seem to be totally at the mercy of BT as regards going online, because we have to have a telephone line. Cable, is another option, but I'm not sure if one has to have a contract with them for other services too, such as phone and TV. What about Satelite, could a dish on the side of the house link ones PC to the internet using an ISP of ones choice, and just have BT provide the phone service. |

Satellite broadband is available but it's not fast and it's certainly not cheap (£310 installation and at least £65 per month).
