I have recently purchased the Harmony 785 Universal remote control. I charged it up and programmed my tv etc.. using the latest version software from Logitech.

I have come across the following two problems.

1. For some reason, after setting the time and date on the remote, the clock on the display does not change. It stays at the time i set it at. It will show the correct time after updating the remote, but again the time stands still.

2. The backlight does not go out. I have tried all the settings from 5 secs upwards and disabled the tilt device, but the backlight remains on all the time.

I have downloaded the latest fimware from logitech and still have my two problems.

What am i doing wrong ?? I have tried so many things perhaps i have confused it. Is there any way to reset the control back to its factory settings ?

I sent Logitech support an email about my two problems.
They replied and told me to download the latest firmware.
I ALREADY DID THAT before i contacted them, I also told them that when i emailed them.

I have sent another email to support yesturday and awaiting a reply.

Later today i shall be ringing them.


I think i have also realised why the backlight will not go out. My other problem is that the clock will not change, If the time doesn`t change the glow light will not know when 5 etc.. secs have past to turn itself off.
