Thin Black Line Accross Screen

Hi, my Toshiba LCD has just developed a fault, the model is a 37WL58 and there is now a black line about 1 mm thick horizontally across the screen about a 70 mm from the top, it is present on all AV channels, the tv is still under warranty so I will be taking it back but would like some info on what the problem is and if it can be repaired, I was hoping it wouldn't be economical to repair it so I would have to have a newer one
