It needs to be seperates for my future install for when ive done out the loft, but it still has to be in the £200 range

Yea i seen that it has won awards, but that doesn't really mean to much

I was asking if anyone has one so i could have some user/customer reviews

I wouldn't be hooking up any lcd tv's with this one,so thats ok

Ive just found out that the Denon AVR1507 isn't as good as it sounds

So it looks like the only other option is the Denon AVR1508,but once again i cant find any reviews

i have one and i'm very happy with it, initially i felt a bit disdappointed but once i adjusted the bass/treble to my liking it really grew on me. it woul;d be nice if it did have hdmi connections but when i bought it a year ago it wasn't heard of. i am satisfied with the number of inputs and the speaker calibration helps improve things further. recently i have been playing streamed mp3's from ps3 from the optical connection and my mouth drops all the time.

The review i saw on the Denon AVR1507 said this

This receiver lacks raw power but will cope with straight forward systems,it seems a little to soft,it seems to hold back a little when it hits a crescendo or a recorded explosion, also it clearly lacks detail

So now the ones im looking at are:

Yamaha RXV361

Denon AVR1508

ONKYO HTR508

Out of those whats the best?

you need to up your budget or get a new soundcard for your computer and a surround package for your computer speakers

either that or buy second hand which will mean you can get a lot more expensive amp for your money
