TH-42PX70 or TH-42PZ70
I'm looking to but one or the other. I know that the PX is 720p and the PZ is 1080p. I want to hook it up to my Windows Media Center PC and use it as a monitor. I want to surf the web, watch Freeview TV, watch HD (720p) TV downloads and maybe play a few games. My graphics card has a DVI output.
1. Will I be able to use the TV as a monitor at 1080 resolution using a DVI to HDMI cable. 2. Do you lose any signal quality converting from DVI to HDMI or is it just rewired for the different connection? 3. I sit 9 feet away from the TV. Would the 1080 desktop resolution make things to small for me to read webpages from my seating position? 4. I'm not interested in watching 1080p movies so which should I go for? Any info would be much appreciated. |
