I think both Gethin and Matt had their confidence knocked the first week with the cha cha, especially comments by Craig

so it knocked their confidence.

It took Matt til AS to "get it" Gethin seems to be absorbing it more each week. Matt's Latin wasnt as bad as some people think, I thought the rumba, jive and samba were really good.

Matt's ballroom to me is the best across all series, especially his quickstep, why that didnt get 4 10's still remains a mystery to me

Gethin's innate sense of rythmn, and the fact he's found his hips should make him better in latin than Matt. Only worry I have is the jive for Gethin.

Ah, Mrs F, have to say my main worry would be the rumba, because my main worry with any of the male dancers is the rumba. The chances of not looking like an idiot are very slim, especially if their hips are not perfect, and it's so slow and posey (sorry to all fans of the dance). Gethin and Camilla were practising the jive in various films before their dance got changed to the tango and I thought it looked OK and he can smile and enjoy that one.

I can see where you're coming from.

I know the rumba is a really difficult dance, however my favourite ones have always been where there's been lots of emotion in them, rather than the technical side.

Hopefully by then Gethin will be well into it emotionally

I agree, the rumba would be difficult, but now Gethin is getting to know Camilla more, he may find it a bit easier, lets hope he gets that far. I am not keen on Matt, I know he is only 20 and I am all for having fun and a laugh, but he sometimes acts likes a 5 year old.

Agreed, blondey. Yes, I was thinking after I posted my last message on this thread, actually the only dance I'm currently worried about for Gethin is the VW! It's going to be really hard, and he's in direct competition with Kelly, Matt and Kenny.
