Are You Tired Of Bad Service/products?
LucyChapman

We are developing a brand new series for Channel 4 and want to hear from people who are sick of waiting in never-ending call queues and then never get a reasonable answer when they are finally put through! In short we want to hear from people who are tired of receiving bad service! At the moment we are gathering research and stories with a view to approaching companies and suggesting they implement a better way of doing things!

So we want to hear from people who have issues with particular companies/services/products – whether it is through their own personal experience or even perhaps that their granny has been sold something faulty and the company never turn up to fix it when they say they will! Any customer-related horror stories are welcome! So, if you get frustrated with inefficiency, sloppy customer service or just downright rudeness and don’t feel like a valued customer - then please get in contact with us or pass this on to someone who you think would be interested. Please contact: lucy.chapman@whizzkid.tv or telephone: 0207 440 2581 - even if just to find out more info.

I can't think of anything worse than watching a bunch of folk whinge on about their broken electrical crap, or how Tesco didn't open that till for them when they were in at lunchtime.

Besides, don't we already have a platform for the great unwashed to air their grievances to Nicky Campbell at Watchdog?

It will be Mr X's dishwasher broke down, he is irate, Mr Y of Company Z comes on to apologise that 'it will never happen again' and spout some generic garbage about the customer being King and the audience goes away breathing a collective sigh of relief that all is again right in the World, and inside a little piece of me dies.

Can't Channel 4 produce some decent shows, or at least buy in some good shows from America?

I bet your series doesn't cover the rude arrogant customer either, there are plenty of those.

HELLO MODERATOR, WHERE ARE YOU ????

NOT SURE THIS TYPE OF 'FISHING' SHOULD BE ALLOWED ON DS, generally this forum is one about helping each other out, not a general advertising space.

Prhaps this thread should be removed ?

true there are already several consumer driven programmes like watchdog highlighting customer service issues, and also programmes like rogue traders exposing shoddy workmanship but the problem with large retail outlets particularly those dealing with consumer electronics is the lack of depth in quality technical knowledge and misinformation being spouted. that is why forums like this exist. lets face it... people in the know air their technical queries and views here and would rather amputate their own spleen with a steak tenderising mallet than buy something on the say so of a spotty teenager in dixons.
wrong place to go looking for people with problems then as most people leave here with a damn good idea of what they need before ever venturing near the shops ! no ?
