Help finding a TV please

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My parents need to get a new Tv. My mother is 82 and can hear the TV ok but my dad, 86 has to use headphones as he is deaf.
His hearing is so bad that he cannot use remote control headphones as they don't go loud enough.
What we need to find is a TV which does not shut off the main speakers when the headphones are plugged in, so mum can hear it.
I have found one looking on the internet, a Mikomi, but don't know of any others. The only want something like a medium sized LCD.
Any ideas please?
Many thanks,
robbiesbird

Sony TV's used to have the very feature you are looking for, and had a volume control for the headphones that was completely independant of the in-built speakers. Don't know if any of their models still have this though, but got to be worth a look.
