Why oh why did he choose that song? Or did someone else choose it for him? I really disliked the original, can't imagine liking this version, however well Mr Mead sings it.

With a voice like that surely he could pick something better? There'll be a large contingent of his fans who've probably never heard of David Essex (no offence meant) - or perhaps that's why they've chosen it??

Lee sings the song very well and the video is great fun. He is certainly not a poor man's David Essex. They are completely different (apart from the curly hair).

I am half inclined to agree with you. I am not keen on the song choice and think it's very cheesy but Lee does a great job (as always).

Haven't seen Lee as Joseph (thought he was outstanding from the very first joseph school and he didnt disappoint when it came to the live shows) as i appear to be slightly alone in the "i love lee" camp amongst my friends maybe i should have joined the lee loveins on here(well not here here but the joseph threads obviously!)
