In the process of setting one up in my daughters room.

I've 'plumbed' it in properly - I think but all i'm getting in the girls room is sound and blue screen no matter what channel its on.

Any idea what i'm doing wrong before I have to call in the cavalry i.e. hubby.

Is the scart connection in firmly?

what are you sending, input from sky or freeview?
if so you need to make sure the senders av adaptor is plugged into the front of the correct scart cable on the back of the sky/freeview box.
i.e it needs to be plugged into the front of the scart cable that sends the signal to your tv downstairs at the sky/freeview box end

I think where we went wrong was connecting it to the TV and not the cable box DOH

Hubby is home from night shift now so he'll tackle it later. I'll let you know how we get on.
