Hack Gone Awry

Yesterday I bought a Pacific 1002 Mk2 DVD player from Asda, as my daughter "appropriated" mine so she could play R1 DVDs. I tried the multi-region hack last night and it didn't work, so I tried it tonight, and it works. The trouble is, now it ONLY plays R1 DVDs and won't accept R2. I know I've obviously done something wrong, but I have no idea what and how to correct it. Any ideas please?

Try that and see if it works.

If the codes too old it may be worth a check at AVFORUM.
