I really love both of these guys.

They've been my favourites from day one, and I love what both of them bring to this show.................................i.e. true talent.
Everyone else can go home unless they do something truly remarkable tomorrow night.

But seriously, I see both as true finalists and both worthy regardless of whom gets the crown.

This thread is such a good idea! I am a Rhydian fan but always thought I would be one for Leon. Hopefully he'll do well tonight It was so nice to see them all getting along so well in that video Lets hope we can do the same

seconded kjp, I never normally go for ppl like Rhyd, it's normally guys like Leon (I use Gareth and/or Ray as an example here!!)

I like both of them.

I prefer Rhydian because I think he is exceptional but I think the sustained criticism of Leon since the first live show is very undeserved. It was an awful arrangement of the most basic melody (as most Beatles songs are) but to translate that into "Leon can't sing" and for Simon to start the party by saying that he thought Leon may have taken the place of someone more talented when he had commented at Leon's audition (for at least the fourth time but for the first time this series) that a natural talent like Leon's was rare is a joke. Yes, the place of someone far more talented in that category was taken by someone who shouldn't be there but that comment should be aimed at Andy who got in on his perceived looks (he does nothing for me) when he was blatantly nowhere near as good as Dominic and the lovely looking blond boy whose name I can't remember.

Leon can obviously sing. Even my husband, for whom 'X Factor' is the equivalent of mogadon, was moved to comment the first week that Leon's vocals were good but the song arrangement was terrible. It was and an insult to Leon's ability.

I'm not going to deny that I want to Rhydian to win but I would love to see a Rhydian/Leon/Niki top 3 and whoever won out of those three, I wouldn't be totally disappointed.

I liked Futureproof as well but of the remaining acts, the only one I have any time for is Same Difference and that's just because they are entertaining, so enthusiastic and come across as such lovely people - plus, I think they actually have quite good voices individually, particularly Sarah.

I think last week was a wake up call to anyone who thinks any of the "favourites" are safe.

Apparently, voting figures have not been great so far this year (hardly surprising after all the phone-in controversy) so last week may have been the best thing that could have happened to those who make money out of this.

That may be down to me actually, lol, I can't vote cos I work Saturday nights, but that will change quite dramatically when I am off next week!!

I dont think the Rhydlers know that feeling...hopefully they'll offer some friendly support to the Leonardos who may be feeling anxious about the song and whether Leon has recovered.

Oh, btw I agree with calling the thread "Team Minogue" and inviting Andy's lot over. I would feel very sorry for Andy if him, Rhydian and Leon visited digispy and found a thread for Rhyd and Andy . I like all three acts.

I think he can pull off 'dancing in the moonlight' no trouble - even if he's having trouble with his voice, I think the song is more about being able to 'sell' it and its got the right vibe for him.

We are all a bit worried about Leon's song this week and also the fact he has been having throat problems and hasn't been able to rehearse as well, then there is the worry he may be put on to perform in the first part of the show again but I'm sure he will pull this off and we can stop worrying for another few days, just want him to get through to another round again

Lol, we are not immune to nerves you know. I was a bit unsure last week when I heard Rhyd was singing Pink.

Only a few hours to go...

We aren't entirly sure...aparaently he origanally picked 'the last dance', but that may have been changed to something else, which cause him to strain his voice, which lead to another song change. Depends what you read and where!

I'm not as worried as some about 'DITM' because I think in a show with a lot of slow ballads it might stand out a bit. Also, ot os the right kind of song for his vocal style.

I'm quite interested to hear Rhyd sing this week, because it will be a big change up from his performances thus far...
