Am doing a thing that I never thought I'd do tonight - voting for Leon as well as Rhydian. Leon cannot be in the singoff tonight, what with his throat.

Good performances from both. I gave Rhyd about 5 votes I've dialled frantically for Leon though. Trust me Rhydillers, Rhydian ain't going nowhere! You don't need to worry!

Oh I know! Even my parents commented that he could barely speak before he said it! Really hope he's safe!

And Rhydian was amazing!!!! He's now my 2nd favourite, after Leon

I quite liked Rhyd this evening...think he's safe as houses. Am considering remortgaging the house to get in more votes for Leon!

I felt so sorry for Andy there. I wasn't impressed with his performance tonight, but it was still sad seeing how upset he was

Yes, I'm afraid it was make or break for him tonight....I liked Andy a lot pre-live shows, but he hasn't really delivered...I do think he has a good voice, it's just that it isn't strong enough....

Louis gets a kick out of that sort of cr*p....I was also cross when he said Leon should have been in the bottom 2 instead of Beverly - I think it should have been Niki, tbh, but of course he's never going to admit that!

Like Sharon said, he doesn't have the Ooomph factor. He doesn't have the stage presence - doesn't make people interested in him. IMHO, of course.

Oh well, at least he can say he was Heat torso of the week...that's a claim to fame of sorts...

I haven't actually seen Leon's performance tonight but I'm very glad that he made it through.

Commiserations to Andy, man it must be hard
I don't know what the expectations are after appearing on x-factor, will he have enough interest to perform on the Welsh circuit, for example? It's so easy to sit here and sniff at their performances but it takes a lot of guts. Wish you all the best Andy.

I agree. I think Niki's performance was one of the worst of the night. She really struggled with that song, although the judges (minus Miss Minogue) didn't seem to notice.

Totally agree. Niki's performance was the worst of tonight's for me.

Poor Andy. He did a brave attempt of that song which was a really difficult piece that was going to make or break. I still think Niki should have been in the bottom two though. Bev did well but her sob story didn't help her in the least.
