I have already voted loads for Penny, and I'm doing so again tonight. I think she's really lovely, is a good dancer (not as good as Alesha and probably Kelly if only she could concentrate), but probably on a par with Matt. And of course I simply adore Ian! Also, she's a fantastic performer which is hugely important, probably as much as technique where this show is concerned. I love their relationship, but they are both too lovely and gentle to push it with the public.

You're my hero Mistermind!

I'm an honorary Essex Girl (got my first degree there) so I expect to vote for the first time this year to keep Penny in. She's a genuinely lovely woman.

If it came down to her and Alesha though ... ???

Then Alesha should stay in IMO. Unless Penny danced a blinder and Alesha fell on her backside or something, but who knows? Much as I love Penny and Ian, they'd have hell to pay in terms of controversy if Penny stayed over Alesha. It was bad enough with Gabby.

John is back to his metier of rhythmic dance out of hold. If he did not get evicted on his worst dance of foxtrot, he is not going to be turfed out by judges on his salsa, regardless of falling to the bottom two or not.

Tomorrow's Viennese Waltzers:

Kelly will do well, I suspect very well.

Matt and Gethin will be voted back in by two armies of swooning girls.

Kenny is dancing to a traditional Scottish tune which will appeal to Scots as much if not more than his kilt last week. He could be lifted shoulder-high by Scottish hordes, high above the bottom two.

That only leaves Penny, doing the salsa.

Oh dear, SOMEBODY has to go out! My understanding is that the night of her jive she was third bottom, then in the samba the following week she was in the bottom two with Gabby despite scoring a huge 8-7-9-8 with the judges (4th top)!

Sweet and mild-mannered Penny appears to lead no army of diehard supporters. Tomorrow once again Penny attempts a vibrant latin dance where her gangly arms and lazy legs will not show to advantage. If she finishes in the bottom two her technical incompatibility with salsa could lead to a shock exit.

If you like Penny, tomorrow is the night to vote. Or it could be au revoir.”

aw bless you, you've given this serious thought.

i agree generally, but imo she was the weaker dancer in the dance-off with Gabby and should have been voted off by the judges, but she's still in, and i really like her, i hope she does well tonight, and that she doesnt end up in the bottom two. that's if she doesnt suck tho, hopefully she'll do well. i'd like to see a few others drop before she does.
