It may be just me, but I thought it might be good to have a thread where we could react positively to any dancers.

The threads for each show are brilliant but I just can't keep up (with watching show and the thread). It maybe an age thing, I don't know.



Anyway. I thought tonight was a brilliant show. I'm actually glad I didn't go out and miss it.

Gethin gets my vote as a Welshman who's on the way up. Camilla also gets my vote for a brilliant choreography, and certainly she deserves a good result for all her work.

I think Alesha's fantastic and I delight in every move she makes.

John Barnes I enjoy too (and it's not just Rich holding me in an armlock to say this) and he was brilliant tonight.

I enjoyed every other dance too, in many different ways, but here's the shocker!

I absolutely loved Brendan and Kelly's dance. IMO it might even have been a little undermarked. She just needs to develop her PR skills (surprising to say about someone so much in the media).

Yes, tonight was a really enjoyable show.

It's going to be very hard to pick someone to go. Even the technically weak celebs (Kate, Kenny) were great fun to watch. I always love to see Kate and Anton's post dance reactions.

I think Ola is on a "journey". A few weeks ago she thought she was in dance competition, and that it was all about trying to teach someone steps. But she's seen James evicted, and is presumably learning that there are more important things than technique, and is learning how to work the system in terms of performance, and stay in.

It would be a pity for either of those couples to go.

I loved watching Kelly and Brendan, and Alesha.

Penny had some technical difficulties, but she gave it 200%, a really excellent effort. It would be a big pity for her to go too.

And there was minimal rancour from the judges this week. That was good.

A great atmosphere throughout the whole show. Even down to the arrow through Len's head.

Loved tonights show and I thought for once tonight the choices of music was good for the Salsa and VW.

I thought that Kenny improved immensely this evening and his VW was lovely.

I loved Bruce's jokes tonight, he had about 2-3 real corkers - the "Where's the Queen" one was fantastic.

I loved that one too as did the crowd

I absolutely love Alesha's and Matt's partnership, and she is a natural dancer

I'm surprised, but I adored Kelly and Brendan's dance.

I was impressed by Brendan saying that Kenny should have gotten higher marks.

I love the support of the couples for each other.

I loved Kenny and Ola's dance and I think I want to see them progress.

Penny and Ian are adorable, because she is such a lovely warm person.

Leticia surprised me, and she tries really hard and is a lovely person.

Matt was also adorable, and he took the criticism very well.

I just love Anton, and Kate is growing on me a lot.

Gethin is getting better, and although I'm not a huge fan of Camilla, she is a good teacher.

I don't think I want anyone to go tonight. Much as many have annoyed in the past!

Brendan despite what people say... is the most postive person there, and will support everyone aboveand beyond!

Thanks <wipes tears from eyes as well>, I actually am really pleased about a positive thread. I know we don't have to hug each other and sing 1960's anthems, but why does everyone concentrate on the bad things. Tonight was quite good, and I love them all <goes off to get a bucket for all the slime>.

I was impressed with him tonight (weird bloke in a positive sense), and he was clapping for everyone else. Good on him, I say.

I will assess Kate purely in POSITIVE TERMS

Great routine with a partner who obviously knows Salsa in an out . She just exuded sultry sexuality . Her upper body and hip actions just undulated in time to the rhythms The whole routine just flowed from one move to the next without any hickups or stops ( ) .

I could just watch it again, again and beg for more

I find it hard usually to say anything nice about Brendan - BUT tonight his choreography was inspired!

And for me to say that about him shows how much I loved the dance!

Positives for me tonight were:
Really enjoyed Gethin & Camilla's dance.
Pleased at how much Kenny has improved, he was very good tonight, glad to see it as he's such a loverly guy with great legs.
Enjoyed Kelly & Brendan's dance - loved the choreography.
Alesha was great as always.

Kelly and Brendan did a great dance,and made up for last week.
Kenny and Ola their best dance tonight
Penny and Ian didn't do it for me,
Letita and Darren, I felt really sorry for Letitia as I think she tries very hard, and it just didn't come off for her tonight
Matt and Flavia not their best dance but I love watching them .
Kate and Anton ,full marks for his hairy chest
Gethin and Camilla looked the part tonight
John and Flavia, John is light on his feet .

Gethin was brilliant tonight shame the other VW marked the same - a travesity and I despair of the judges marking Len shame on you

Brucie was on form tonight.

Gethin & Camilla and Kelly & Brendan's VW were great.
As were Alesha & Matts and John & Nicole's salsa.

Also really liked Kenny and Ola - good intro.

While a part of me might want Kate to go (but only to save others) I must admit she is improving all the time. She has grace (in defeat if not on the dance floor).

He did go first. Do I need to refer you to the pages of comments on other sites (especially Colin Jackson) to display the, by now, scientific evidence that who ever goes first loses out.

Farbeit from me to favour the judges (but this is a positive site) I'm not sure I would be brave enough to give a ten at the start of a show, maybe wanting to keep a little in reserve just in case.

you are on my wavelength - I enjoyed John too, Alesha is my favourite (not in a Bruce way but seriously!) and Gethin is doing the Welsh proud!!!! And Brendan and Kelly (not my favourite) were fabulous tonight.

I really enjoyed last nights show too.

I am not a big fan of the VW but I thought all the couples who did this dance made a very good attempt, considering they only had three steps to play with each of them managed to add a different perspective and all the dances were interesting and varied.

My four favourite dancers yesterday were Kelly, John, Alesha and Gethin. Thought all four did really well.
Agree about Kate and Antons post judges remarks being funny. I dont vote for them myself but i can understand why people find them so entertaining.
