Back to the matter in hand: yes, Kate was remarkably gracious in defeat, both at the end of Sunday night's show, and also from what I glimpsed on GMTV this morning.

However ...

I'm SO happy she's gone. Even Kenny, for all his faults, at least always makes an effort. Dunno whether or not it was intentional on Saturday - the judges stinging comments on his cha cha cha probably out-sympathy-voted Kate. Was that deliberate? If so - smart move ...

I'm not sure that that was in the judges' minds when they dole out the criticism of the more inept dancers. However, I do believe they have learned that giving fulsome praise to their favourites, week after week, regardless of actual perfomance (Zoe Ball, Emma Bunton), turns the viewers off that person and means they don't get as far as the judges hoped. I think the comments about the better dancers are more balanced this year.

Essh - just watched ITT - bit too much Anton and Kate on it IMO - in that they were on it at all. Its so annoying because I've always liked Anton, but I've begun to find him so arrogant!
