I've watched every series. I've never voted, ever.

I love the whole shaboodle. Every year it excites me.

But I've never voted. Ever.

I know I'm not alone.

I love it when someone brilliant goes out and someone less brilliant stays in .... it shows my kids that you don't have to be figgin perfect ... but you do have to have the balls to try !

I did vote for Goughie....but never before that I don't think....and certainly not since.

Same here, I've never ever ever voted before, but this series I'm very tempted to start voting, just because we've had surprises every week and I'm worried for my favourite couple this time.

Even last year, I prefered Matt to Mark (I know, shock horror), but I still didn't vote in the final. Same with Colin and Darren, but i was happy when Darren won.

Me. Not a voter in any shows (though I've been known to redial like mad on Big Brother, when I've had a few drinks, so I haven't had to watch someone particularly loathsome ever again !)

To be honest, after all the scandals concerning phone-in shows, I would never consider wasting a penny again. If I want to give money to charity I do it directly.

The whole concept of SCD, as much as I love the show, is spoilt for me when popular characters stay in over the best dancers. My singular vote wouldn't make a difference when faced with a huge fanbase.

nah, i've never voted for anyone on anything ever. I enjoy the entertainment value of shows like this, but I never get so bothered about them that i feel the need to vote.
however if I could vote people out i may change my mind- get kate out!!

I have ashamedly voted once, for Spooney, only because I liked him and knew he would go.

But no-one has ever got to me that much to make me pick up the phone.
If it was for some-one to go, well, that would be a diffrent matter.

You have been the cause of voting in other people, though

It's weird isn't it, SCD is not about the dancing, it's pure popularity contest, always has been from the start, but I've only just realised it this series and I have to say ... well , fair play. I feel sorry for the selbs that put their all into it only to find out that they are not very popular with joe and joanne public but public probably does not know who half of them are so they really should not take it to heart.

I still cannot find it in me though to pick up my phone and vote - not that I care less who is in the remainer of the series and who is out .... but I like watching what the rest of the GB public (not me ha ) think about the whole shaboodle

I voted for the Halfpenny and Goughie... but not since then. Last season I was swept away by Mark's Latin and Matt's ballroom and didn't really want to pledge my allegiance to either. And this season there hasn't, so far, been anyone who's made me feel I should be skedaddling off to the phone. Alesha really doesn't have that effect on me... I know she's excellent and everyone else loves her but she leaves me completely unmoved. I don't know what's wrong with me!

Horses for courses. I think you're mad of course but it'd be very dull if we all liked the same dancers!

Not voted in this series, I'd rather just donate to CIN privately.

I fI do vote it will be in the final, and thats if the performance is outstanding.

I can't vote as I live abroad... I'm not sure whether or not I would vote if I could.

I let my kids vote for Gethin a few weeks ago, cos they like him....but he has improved since, so it was probably worth it. I voted for Alesha last night mostly because she was fourth on the leader board. Other years I haven't voted at all til the final. Its dictated by how I feel on the night.

I have been happy with who has won in every series though I didn't watch series 1. The winners haven't always been the most obvious winners at the start, but they have outshone the others in dance or personality or hard work or all three usually.

I'M NOT MAAAAD! Nor am I a horse. I think it's just that Jill Halfpenny spoiled me for any other woman.

(Please understand, "mad" from me isn't necessarily an insult  )

She was amazing. IMO (and it is only MY opinion) Alesha is the one female dancer I've seen since who could possibly give Jill a run for her money, but we'll see

Ah, I know you didn't mean it as an insult and thank-you for being so sensitive to my Alesha-blind-spot.
Incidentally, love your forum name... are you sarah-flute because you play the flute?

Yay. I think it is ace when a judges fave goes out. Oh and I don't vote... I used to vote on reality shows until last years BB when they brought ex housemates back, I then thought there is no point in voting, so never again.

Me. Cos I can't, I don't live in the UK. If I could though, I would have voted for Denise/Jill in season 2, Zoe in season 3, Carol/Louisa in season 4 and Alesha this year

I used to vote on everything for every show but now I only vote on Strictly. I've outgrown it really.
