It's OK.
Does the job of being a monitor better than the job of being a TV, but it does both pretty well. The only thing that annoyed me was that it crops 16:9 inputs to 16:10, losing a little bit of the screen, something that the 225MW (22") solved by allowing you to letterbox the image slightly if you want to. Other than that, I'm happy with mine, but prefer the 22" one that was £250 at Argos a few months ago, although now I've just seen it has gone up to £300. |

ive got one of these
i bought it back in summer 06 because it said 'hd ready' on the argos website since then i tried to use my ps3 in hd mode via a component cable and it doesn't like it. it works in 576 mode however now checking the argos and samsung websites its no longer advertised as 'hd ready'

Yep, just 1080i, and even then it has to scale down quite a bit with the resolution being 1440x900.
And it's 16:10, not 16:9, which I think may also have something to do with it. It's definitely more of a PC monitor than a TV. |

it will not even run on the low hd level (not 1080)
it works on the tv though on the 576 mode through a component cable |

The Argos site does says "TV is not compatible with Blu Ray DVD Players or Playstation 3 Games consoles
but it does just not anything higher than 576 |

There's something weird going on there, maybe with the PS3? When I had my 360, 720p and 1080i worked fine on this monitor.

perhaps it does have a problem hd wise with the ps3, the argos website says nothing about problems with the 360
