Caller Reject

I want to block a couple of numbers that ring me.

Not wishing to splash out £7.50 a month for BT's ACR and Choose to Refuse; Is there a gadget out there that can intercept the call and hang up and drop the line without; (a) it disturbing me and (b) them getting my call minder and leaving a message?

Thanks.

I'm not too sure if there any gadgets out there.

I use ACR and Choose to Refuse and although they are expensive; it offers me the privacy I want.

I'm wrestling with the same problem, one solution is to buy a phone system with "private calling" such as the Panasonic KX-TG910 ES DECT whereby I believe you can assign different ring tones including a silent call function which should do the trick. Because I need 6 phones I'm currently looking for other manufacturers who supply a similar but cheaper function.
Please let me know if you have any luck!!

Funny you should say that, as that what I am going to buy! As I have drawn a blank. Perhaps a nice opening in the market for someone?

Are you going for the Panasonic or do you know of any others?

I found this model on Ebay Siemens Gigaset s440, it says it's the French model, so I see how it goes when it arrives, but usually you can swap the display language.
