Someone suggested Kiss (Tom Jones version). I love the idea.

If they had a Tom Jones night (bliss) I'd love Green Green Grass of Home. I'd cry my eyes out.

I think he could just about cover any Tom Jones song and bring the house down.

It would be nice to hear him singing a bit of TJ. I know he sang 'Delilah' in the bootcamp stage.

The OH has always saw Rhydian singing Billy Idol's, White Wedding ever since she was him on the first show. Personally I can see him doing perhaps some Meatloaf big ballads.

I get excited thinking about how he'll sing anything to be honest.

As others have said rock ballad like Foreigner and Whitesnake tracks would be fantastic. Then of course Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell would just be sensational.

Time to say goodbye

Edited to add - I'd genuinely like him to sing it, I wasn't doing a silly word pun about wanting him to leave!

he could sing
my gas bill and it would sound amazing and
the contents of the yellow pages

but selfishly I choose
anything/all from Les Miserables
especially : one day more,
Bring him Home
and Stars

I would love him to repair the damage done by that Carey woman and sing Without you

and I'm sure he could pull off bat out of hell and the show must go on too !!

I didn't know there were Clay fans on this board! *is a huge Clay fan*

In terms of songs, umm...The Impossible Dream, I agree, would be fab. Or something from Les Miserables.

He needs to sing something that will test him, and show that he can truly do 'pop'.

If he does do a Queen song (it will happen), I hope they Danniiiiii doesn't go for the obvious, but chooses something like 'Fat Bottomed Girls' - now that I would love to see!!!

My mum's hoping he'll sing that too, I doubt it though because Paul Potts did it, but with a bit of luck, it'll be on his winners album.

Me too, with him going back to being flamboyant (just as a one-off!). I know it's too obvious but Bohemian Rhapsody would be amazing, or my fave Queen song which is Las Palabras de Amor

One of the Bond theme songs...unlikely now though, it would have come under 'Songs from the Movies'
