Well Lola he might be for your mum - but he's not for me!!I think he is absolutely gorgeous.......... and I could watch him dance until the cows come home. I wish I could be Mel B for a day ...........when he's nice and smiley and happy of course !!!!

Good news Mel and Maks fans. I'm staying with my friend in the US for Thanksgiving and have converted her and her kids to M&M! We voted for them this week and they will be be doing so again in the final.

I love Mel and Maks, they're both personality plus - then more! And Mel can certainly move, even for a trained(?) dancer, the continuous splits she did in the Viennese are really difficult, especially doing them with such grace. Have to be really honest though, and say I preferred their first paso to the one they did last night. Didn't like the red velvet outfit, or the whip.... but that's just my taste, it was still extremely good.

I'm so pleased they got to the final, they've been a joy to watch and have never disappointed all season, every week its been a real treat to watch their dance. Win or lose they can be really proud, fingers and everything crossed that America sees sense tonight. Can't wait to see their showdance.

Yes, Good Luck to M&M for tonight's Final.

Don't forget to come on the forum if you stay up for a chat.

Just had to say this too:
Did you see Mel's double splits in the VW last week? Her splits in the Jive earlier in the comp? We're talking FULL SPLITS down to the ground, all the way, not the half hearted splits by Alesha in the Cha Cha on SCD last Saturday, and Len says that "Alesha is the most naturally talented dancer ever to appear on this type of show"? You've got to be kidding me?

ah he had to have meant on SCD, because he cant have included DWTS, because mel would wipe the floor with alesha in terms of natural ability.

Aww, I love looking at Alesha dancing; probably not in the same league as Mel B at the moment, but she's improving by the week. IMO she's the best in the UK version at the moment. Personality wise, she reminds me a lot of Mel too

I'm afraid i'm going to have to take issue with you here La Rhumba. Since when does a persons ability to do splits define how good a dancer they are? I've really enjoyed M & M, she's a great dancer, but then so is Alesha. Those four splits of Mels wasn't dancing, it was acrobatics. By the way, I've seen Nicole Cutler doing those 'half-hearted splits' and I know you don't think that makes her a weak dancer.

I think technically Mel is a much better dancer than Alesha. I would say a good example to compare is their respective Jives - except I'm not sure if Mel's Jive is still available on youtube if you haven't seen it.
I don't think Alesha's Cha Cha on Saturday was a 3x10 dance.
BTW doing the splits is not "acrobatics", it's a move used in Ballet and all forms of Dance.
Also I'm not Nicole Cutler's biggest fan, she's a lovely person, but her dancing, apart from her fast spins, doesn't always excite me, but I accept I'm in the minority there.

Your not in the minority - loads of people on the forums have said how she seems a lovely person - but shes not an exciting dancer to watch. I don't think her choreography is ever great either.
