The right person went in my opinion - definitely the weakest link left (trying desperately not to give the game away for those who don't want to know before tomorrow night)

OMG - Just been reading Susan's Wiki entry - did anyone else realise that she is 61 (62 next month!)!!!!!

Cloris wasn't the only OAP on the show this series - both of them did amazingly well

I thought she must be at least in her late 50s - the vast amount of surgery she looks as if she has had done on her face hasn't helped her look younger!!!!

I think that the group dance was a terrible idea.

It's put two couples who didn't dance well in their individuals into two of the three top spots, and one couple who rocked their individual at the bottom.

Stupid idea.

Just stupid.

Review of the show:

The Semifinals consisted of two rounds of dances. First was a Latin Round, followed by a round of dances in new styles introduced this season. Two couples chose Salsa and two chose Jitterbug. Both styles were demonstrated with live performances by professional couples who specialize in those disciplines. Lifts were allowed during the second round, but not the first.

See some of the clips plus the judges scores on:

myoxisbroken

All the clips are here:

http://www.rickey.org/?cat=218

Lance & Lacey - Mambo & Jitterbug

Warren & Kym - Mambo & Jitterbug

Cody & Julianne - Paso Doble & Jitterbug

Brooke & Derek - Jive & Salsa

"The show began with a series of segments in which the couples chose their favorite Standard and Latin dances from the season. Those performances were replayed in their entirety. Brooke Burke & Derek Hough picked their Quickstep and Paso Doble, Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer chose their Tango and Mambo, and Warren Sapp & Kym Johnson selected their Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble.

Then, siblings Craig & Samantha were named the winners of the season's Ballroom Kids competition, and they danced their winning Jive. Given her knack for hamming it up on camera, I'd like to see junior Samantha take over co-hosting duties from Samantha Harris.

After the performance, the announcer unexpectedly proclaimed, "Live from Hollywood, this is Dancing with the Stars." If this marked the official beginning of the Performance Show, then what the hell had I been watching for the last 30 minutes?"

Article and clips of the Samba Smackdown and the Freestyle dances here:

http://www.myoxisbroken.com/OxArticle.aspx?id=899

Brooke and Derek are top of the leader board after the group dance and the freestyle round.

hmm based on those final clips I loved Warren and Brookes and hated Lance's..which is kind of what I expected but I did hope Lacey would pull out something special for him freestyle(samba was good though)

I agree, I thought Lance and Lacey's freestyle was pretty boring to be honest. Mel B made the same mistake last year with her freestyle. Hip Hop or whatever it's called just doesn't look good as a final dance.

Thanks for the info. I shall be out on Friday so won't be able to watch, but now I don't feel I'm going to miss anything, as I've seen/heard best bits!!! Only thing not mentioned - did the kids dance in the results show? They weren't mentioned in the article highlighted above?

I've found a brave person who is putting the entire show up on Youtube. Just waiting for the final clip to load and then I'll post them all here.
