Excuse my probable denseness, but I recorded last night's DWTS on Watch, thinking it was a new one? What day is the latest US one shown in the UK now? Ta muchly.

It'll be on Friday at 9pm. The Monday shows are repeats now that we have caught up. The latest shows go out Monday and Tuesday nights in the US.

I think either of next weeks dances will suit Mark - any idea why they introduced the new dances?

For the Maks' fans

Per Maks' twitter

"So, I guess I'm back on the show (for at least this week). Derek is down with bad flu and I'm doing Argentine Tango with Joanna. Should be lot's of fun, eventhough I do feel like I'm cheating on Debi..... We only have two days to get everything done, so wish us luck and VOTE!!!

Lots of love,

Maks

P.S. Let the tabloids be for the time being.... I'll explain everything later "

I've never seen Maks do an argentine tango so I am looking forward to this!

Maks' twitter. His name is MaksimC

http://twitter.com/MaksimC

From Joanne's twitter.

" maks and i spoke to derek and he sounds real sick. maks and i will be dancing together monday"

" maks is a wonderful teacher and we ll dedicate the dance to derek make him proud while he recoops"

" no maks had to do it from scratch"

derek was too sick so he didnt come to the studio....maks is great at tango so we ll do our best in the 2 days we have"

Wow. It sounds like Maks had to choreograph this and teach in 2 days. I hope they can pull it off. They also have to do the group dance, the hustle.

Picture for the Maks fan. Backstage.

Maks writes a very interesting blog for tv guide. I especially like this paragraph. I think it could be applied to SCD also.

http://www.tvguide.com/Celebrity-Blo...s-1010992.aspx

I was watching Dr. Drew the other day and I thought it was interesting that his show was referred to as a social experiment. I really like that phrase. That's exactly what these reality shows are. They're nothing other than an experiment. It's like big brother syndrome. You put a bunch of people in a room and see their reactions. It's not just dancing, but surviving this experiment. You put a person in a situation and you watch him or her figure the situation out. During the season, some people figure things out and some people don't. Look at Melissa. She went from the bottom, very uncomfortable and slightly uncoordinated, to all of the sudden the top of the leader board with an amazing dance, totally killing it. Then you see some go in, like Aaron, with a lot more swagger and a lot more confidence, and during the course of the show, realize that "Uh oh, this is not what I expected." That's a failed experiment. I think it's something that's happening to everybody. Some are coming into their own and look better as the weeks go and some people look worse and worse.

Rather than post some fancy links with the names of the dances, (I can't be bothered) here's the Youtube channel that Force Ten posts his links from

http://www.youtube.com/user/phillymacTV

Last nights dances are all up just now.

wk5 couples 1-10 and the group dance.

Thanks for the link BUT you didn't have to shut down FT's great weekly efforts in providing us the links....it's quite unnecessary!

I personally prefer FT's individual links so I can just as easily pick & choose who I want to watch.

Without FT sharing with us the weekly DWTS, a lot of us esp me (since I don't watch it on TV anyway) would be lost without our Tues & Wed online viewing.

Thanks as always FT!

For me best week so far in terms of performances & some really great dances too.

Donny surprised me too, next best celeb AT, Gilles Marini's AT last year is still the best, I've seen so far.

There are various people who upload the videos to YouTube and some are in the correct ratio, but they take a lot longer to upload. Phillymac is invariable the first and I put the links to the individual dances as some people like to pick and choose. I've been doing this for a few years now as it's the way I watch the programme and I share the links. And I'm not a "he". I do it for the Blue Room as well, at the request of bendymixer. cpgcorner2 puts the best versions up on YouTube and in HD as well, but they take for ever - for example he still hasn't managed to upload all of Monday night's programme yet.

If you want to take over Prime! just let me know and I won't bother any more.
