If she's a big lump then I'm glad we've never met, as I don't think she looks bad at all, plus she did ballet, jazz and tap as a child. Am I missing something here?

He hasn't bothered to put in an appearance yet - not for the launch nor for the press photos. And apparently he can't do all the rehearsing that's required either. Hopefully he'll just get knocked out first and that'll solve that problem...

I don't know or care much about the guy, but apparently whatever reality show he's filming is filming right now and he couldn't get away until next week.

The general consensus is that she isn't a star, and she has no business being there. Is she hated? I wouldn't go that far. I'd just say she's another of her mother's crass attempts to cash in on whatever popularity she has. And believe me, for every person that hates her (Mommy Palin), there is someone who loves her. It's scary.

I heard that MTV would not let him do another show while he was doing The Jersey Shore and that meant even practice. It should have been worked out with the agents before he signed, yes. I don't think he is very happy about it but he could not get out of the contract. The same thing happened to Audrina last year. She had signed to do DWTS and Dmitry was to her partner. She had to pull out at the last minute because she could not practice while under contract. Other t.v. shows don't seem to have a problem with a celeb practicing and even doing another show while they are under contract to DWTS. If anything it gives the celeb more exposure so I don't understand what the problem the execs have with it.

Bristol - I think she is creating interest because her boards have the most views and posts of any celebrity. The issue with Palin is that her mother preaches abstinence as birth control and Bristol had a teen pregnancy so she is a poster child for teen pregnancy. It has riled up people that Bristol is riding her mother's coattails and trying to be a reality star. So much controversy. I have no idea how she will do. I am thinking another Kate Gosselin. I hope not.

I must pay more attention. So that means there are 3 reality show celebs this time. Mmmm. I have a bit of a problem with a reality show participant being a 'star', as in Dancing With The Stars. Guess I'll have to get over it and just enjoy the show. We've not had someone on Strictly yet who is only famous because of a reality show. The 'reveal' is recorded this Wednesday and being broadcast on Saturday, so maybe that will change - I hope not though.

I don't care a whole lot for the reality star thing either but I understand why the get the reality "stars" to do it. It makes for great ratings because if you think about it this is the decade of reality shows. They are by far the most popular shows to watch and they make people famous. The pro dancers are famous now and why - because they appear on a reality show every year known as DWTS or SCD. But at least they have talent. I question the reality stars who have no talent other than being followed around by a camera and acting out the crazy.

I notice that Mark is sporting that shaved head look that so many of the male pros are wearing now. Louis had his like that for his show Ballroom with a twist. Robin and Artem wear it that way although Artem is growing his out.

The surgery wasn't "botched"; it just made her look virtually unrecognisable, so she didn't get a lot of acting jobs after it. I have seen her in a few things though. I think she looks well.
