Wouldn't have mind if Kyle had won, I liked his exuberance, but I'm happy with the result. And happy that I've been proven wrong. I thought the tea baggers support would be strong enough for the Palin girl to lift the trophy.

I disliked the way she was talking about the people who hated her and her mom. Saya much about her mind set.

I'm so pleased , and relieved that Jennifer won.

I've had a horrible feeling since Rick left that Bristol was getting the popular vote and would win the whole thing, despite not being as good as Jennifer , Kyle, Rick , Brandy and even Kurt.

Even Kyle winning would have been ok.

Don't get me wrong , i like Bristol and think she's an OK dancer ( she certainly doesn't deserve to be likened to Widdicombe) but I don't think she deserved to be in the semi final or the Final

Don't forget Audrina! I felt a bit sorry for her, as she was knocked out much too early. I think she and Brandy should have been in the final with Jennifer.

I sort of agree with you, except that Audrina really lacked personality & her dancing appeared cold. Don't think she deserved to be eliminated so early in the show, though

I know what you mean, but I think she could have improved in that respect. She did seem to be a natural dancer, even if she lacked personality. Bristol didn't have much of a personality either.

I do think we ended up with a very mediocre final, but I'm glad Jennifer won.

Surprise, surprise the professional dancer wins again. Two amateurs up against her didn't really have a chance. Anyway, they didn't deserve to win... how dare they not have years of dance experience!

I love Derek to bits - have done since I first saw him competing as a junior & then youth in London, BUT I really do think it is his time to get the dud (potentially dud anyway) celeb for a change..

Maks has never gotten the dud. Why should Derek? Going home early doesn't necessarily mean you got the dud. Just like staying awhile doesn't mean that you didn't need to work for it. Derek has gotten his share of partners that weren't all that great, or weren't expected to be all that great. Joanna Krupa comes to mind. By all accounts she was really bad when they started working, not to mention she was a total unknown with no fan base and the few people that did know her from her Superstars appearance right before the show, hated her. (She went on a foul mouthed tirade at her partner on that show that was really quite remarkable.) I heard from someone that took a class with Alec and Edyta that the producers thought Joanna would not last long. Alec also said Derek can make anyone look good. Anyway, at this point Derek's last two partners have been people that specifically requested him. They were also people that the producers really wanted on the show, so they got him. When that happens, I don't think they are going to think that much about it.

Joanna was a dancer on a TV show. Jimmy Kimmel mentioned it in her exit interview.

I wonder how Derek would have coped with Bristol or even Kate Gosselin. He is very talented, but I'm sure even he can't work miracles. He seems to have a very mild nature, but I think that's largely been due to the fact that none of his partners have been awful. I wonder what he'd be like if he had a total dud.

Not surprising they are going to request Derek for a partner: he's got it all - charming personality, great looks, and Oh Boy can the boy dance!!!!

For a brief time Joanna was a "Juggy Dancer" on The Man Show with Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. "Juggy Dancers" were buxom female models in skimpy costumes gyrating around, jumping on trampolines and otherwise doing things that played into the sexist theme of the show.
