What would we feel about Heather Mills on SCD Xmas Special?

I wouldn't like it. Not because I have an opinion about her one way or the other, but because the Xmas special where it was random couples in there amongst the mix (ie. Brendan with Rachel Hunter) was the worst one ever. I feel it only works with past Strictly couples and hope they stick to that formula this year like the last two (?).

Ideally I'd love all past finalists competing - Jill or Mark? I'd be torn !

Because she is an attention-seeking, manipulative and self-delusional arse maybe?

My humble opinion only lol.”

You mean you know that because you read the red tops???

I agree with this. I think couples should be able to dance with their original partners, otherwise it just doesn't work.

no I read the Sunday Times lol! I don't know anything - but nor does anyone else who comments on these forums - we all only comment on how someone appears to us. My reason for disliking her (actually I think disliking is a bit strong) is that I feel that when I've seen her on TV, even years ago when she first got together with Macca, it always seemed to be about her, that was the impression she seemed to give. Or the impression that came across to me, anyway.

And that's the reasoning behind my comment. Unfair maybe for any of us to comment either positively OR negatively on anyone in the public eye because we don't know them - but I guess if they go on TV then they must expect us to have an opinion. And from what I have seen on her on TV, that is how I personally find she comes across.

According to what I read somewhere (so it must be true lol) the reason for the wheelchair was that she has a plate in her pelvis and one of the screws has worked loose and she needs another operation to put it all back together again. Nothing to do with her leg.

If that is true, I don't see how she can possibly take part in a dancing competition.

Considering you don't dislike her "Because she is an attention-seeking, manipulative and self-delusional arse maybe?" is pretty strong! I'm not a fan, but I've never seen anything to make me react the way some of the posters on this thread have, that's all I was saying.

I don't know what others would think, but in my case it would be something along the lines: "Oh no, not that bitch again."

blimey that really IS an insult

I wonder if Heather's listening lol!

it was "reported" that she wants to do it so people will like her.

Hmmmmm. Don't think you're gonna get what you want for Christmas, lovey, if reading all this is anything to go by!

I don't like her - that may be unreasonable, because of course I don't know her, and perhaps the opinion of many of us is based on the popularity of Macca; that and the fact that she's taking him to the cleaners after such a short marriage.

If anyone puts themselves in the public domain, they will find that opinions are formed on little else than that public persona; it's why most of us love Alesha but some of us are irritated beyond belief with Kelly and Kate.

I absolutely wholeheartedly agree with EVERY WORD of this post.

I think the level of hatred towards her's a bit much - I genuinely have no opinion of the woman. She's come across a bit crazy recently, but other than that, I really don't care.

However, she would be absolutely foolish to do it, because, for whatever reasons, the public really do seem to hate her. Not only would she be putting her name back into the tabloids that she clearly doesn't want to be in (and they won't be nice about her), but, as Strictly's a popularity contest, she'll just lose.

Its almost as though she deliberately puts herself in the firing line and then can't take it when the reaction is negative.

I really don't like her so hope its not true. It was only a little while ago that she was supposed to be so ill that she needed a wheelchair. If thats the case then how can she get up and dance in a few weeks time.

Agree ...to be honest though I didn't like her before she married Macca(I'm not actually that keen on him either ) my thoughts when he married her was theres no fool like an old fool...but hey it was his business..theres just something I don't like about her..its not based on tabloid press as I don't read tabloids if I can help it

If she appears in such a public forum as SCD she is just fanning the flames of the fire she claims is constantly burning her.
(for those of you who don't like metaphors I apologise for my explaination.)

people will like her if she stays off the tv/newspapers for more than a nanosecond

p.s. Heather, comparing yourself to princess di or Kate McCann isn't the way to go about it
